Why do they allow chinese companies to trade in the US? I dont get it

Who is going to protect American investors if they allow chinese companies to trade in the US? Its a no-lose situation for them there in my opinion, as they can run a legit biz or a complete scam or anything in between, and they have nothing to lose, no accountability, no law enforcement officials on them to catch 'em.
so why even allow chinese co.s to trade in US? I dont get itSentiment: Hold

If they issue secondary shares, it could fall $30-40 to the price where the secondary is issued at
If SEC comes out full force and charges Hastings for posting infos on FB, then it could get even uglier.
If SeekingAlpha or Motley Fool or some blog comes out with a hit piece article on nflx, then also you could see $40 drop easy me thinksSentiment: Strong Sell

power of a short squeeze is undeniable. it can take the worthless of all companies, much less nflx, and rally it's stock to unknown heights before turning on its own.

I personally think last thing you would want is growth, no debt & great fundamentals as a co.
