Is there even enough sugar there for that much? Predicting 500k mt in hawaii sounds ambitious.
6.5 mil tons of cane would support about 300k mt of szym oil. Alas. Cant complain if they even get a deal for that much lol.
~940k shares today and 506k shares yesterday..... 1.4 million shares. Even if the entire volume was due to covering shorts, 10% of the outstanding share count is still artificially sold short. With a float of 52 million, that's 14.5% of the float.
Honestly, what's wrong with those people?
Geez the amount of misinformation out there makes me want to gag..... reading that article and the comments felt like getting stabbed with a needle several times over. Sigh.
Worth noting Walsh got some details wrong. SZYM isn't necessarily making biofuels in Moema. It also isn't capable of 100 million gallons..... more like 30 million gallons. Still, nice of him to mention us.
Whats wrong about it just being chemicals & fuel? Have you no concept of a 30% gross margin (probably about a 10% operating margin) & a multi-billion dollar industry ? Do you not realize that many comparable companies that are petroleum-based operate on these very metrics and have a very linear stock growth after producing from an established facility?
Are you just fear mongering, pretending like you know what you're talking about, or just not get it?
Good find, LBS. I like Genomatica too, but I still think people got their rankings wrong based on capability. Savannah forgot to correctly reference the VP who gave the quote, which is likely Robert Evans.
More transparency on corruption seems pretty far away from cap and trade support. How do u figure?
Tailored oils keeps going. Add ons. 4-parter thus far.
Additionally, chems and fuel from yeast?? Whats going on there? "Renewable chemicals and fuels from oleaginous yeast"
Genifuel? nothing to see there... really. Just an article making something out of nothing.
This might have the unfortunate affect of not getting the recent bill introductions to kill corn ethanol approved though. Corn prices are dropping like a rock.... worse time to kill off ethanol for farmers really.
Where'd you read that they're looking into cassava? (i agree that I think they are) But I don't remember reading that anywhere.
I'm watching that MACD line pretty intensely right now.... i still feel like a crossover could occur today back into bullish territory.
