Well, they're all separate contracts. From what I understand they don't want to announce each contract separately. The concern is Abtech helped with the water treatment/management plan that was approved and they don't want another company coming in and undercutting them. My best guess is sometime in the 4th quarter they announce something like 15 contracts have been signed. I really hope this moved along quickly and we hear something positive (contract details, and I want names, dam.n it!) at the 3rd qtr conference call.
I forgot to mention, the plan Abtech helped create/design has already been approved (that's when they mentioned the $12M project). I've seen parts of it and it's very complicated. To produce another plan on that level would cost too much, take too long and use too many resources (in my opinion of course). I expect almost universal acceptance of the plan and almost 100% realization of the project expected revenue.
Then again, maybe the government defaults on its debt and to save money cuts clean water grants and dismantles the EPA.
Here's what's up... the project has potential to be worth $12M. That project is made up of a bunch of small contracts. Each would use Abtech for their water treatment system. Whether or not it is worth $12 is dependent on how many customers out of the pool choose "the plan" (explained below).
Basically, Abtech helped create a plan and is thus, part of the plan. This plan can either be accepted by each customer or they can come up with their own water treatment and management plan (that would have to be approved separately). Either way the hard date is set. Also, government fund have already been awarded to these customers for water treatment systems.
So to answer your questions; yes (although probably slightly lower than 100% of $12M), yes
It's not worth posting on this board without any news. You'll just be attacked with claims of being a pumper. Not worth getting in a message board disagreement.
In my opinion the stock won't go sub .50 again. Investors that support this company will #$%$ up any shares in that range.
I have some inside info on the $12 million contract, but don't want to start "rumors" without details being released by the company or their customers. Without giving away too much; we probably won't hear much in the 3rd quarter either. However, there is a "hard" date set for implementation of new regulations. Very vague, sorry....
