"The incentives of a competitive free market are the best way to bring health care costs down while also pushing the envelope of improvement and progress through research and discovery."
Drug companies have, for far too long, had complete freedom in everything they do - including buying GOP politicians to carry their water. The result is clear: drug companies ream American customers by charging them the highest prices of ANY market in the world. As a result of their total lack of regulation we have ended up with people DYING from tainted (poisoned, contaminated) drugs. We have also seen drug prices go through the roof.
NOTHING about a "free market" is going to encourage drug companies to lower prices. History show the opposite to be true - all they ever do is increase their prices.
One additional awful result of this "free market" you defend against all regulation, is that drug companies have bought republican politicians by the bushel full. The GOP is in the pocket of pharmaceutical corporations and, sadly, the republican base is too dammed stupid to care (have someone read, and explain, your post to you and you'll see that I am right).
Members of the Toilet Sex Brigade / Larry "I Am Not Gay" Craig party should NEVER use the word "blow" in their posts.
Of course, the republicans do seem to be the experts on blowing - thanks to their extensive Larry Craig training.
Hillary needs onlone bumper sticker for 2016. It should be hung on the lower rear of her dress and read:
"republicans, kiss me"
"Know one knows more about the budget and how to fix our economic mess than Ryan"
Every credible source (economists) I've heard offer an opinion on Lyin' Ryan's budget says it makes no sense. Nothing in Ryan's budget adds up the way the GOP liars are trying to paint it.
Ryan would do more good if he'd resign his seat and stay in WI to shovel snow. At least that might be of benefit to someone.
If (s)he runs again, the hysterical Swisher, Romney, should wear a dress. That might make her more attractive to the few straight republicans who are left in the party.
Because paranoid right wing idiots and NRA trash are needlessly flooding our country with guns. They put everyone at risk just because they're so scared of life that they're #$%$ in their shoes every time they see their own shadow.
foretherun1, why can't you live according to your fairy tales without pestering the sane people with your blatherings. You're an imbecile. Your beliefs are infantile. Go away.
America needs at least two opposing parties, to keep each other in check.
But the republican party has become so extreme that its views now seem cartoonish rather than conservative. Sadly, the GOP no longer fills the role of a loyal, patriotic, opposition. I don't know what its role will be in the future (if it has one), but the GOP is so far out of touch I don't see how it could possibly put together any kind of majority in a fair and balanced election. Being against everything is not an attractive platform.
It'll be interesting to see how the right twists its message in 2014 to try and make it sound logical and appealing - it'll require a LOT of manipulation and non-stop lies.
"Instead of focusing on the problem of Obamacare..."
Rush ought to be thrilled about Obamacare, maybe it'll pay to fix his drug-addled brain. I'm surprised anyone still listens to that fool.
But, for America's sake, let's hope he's right about the GOP committing suicidel
"History of Obama presidency will always be presided with "the lying"
As opposed to george w. bushhole, whose name will forever be preceded by "war criminal".
Sorry, dipshyte, but legally elected President Obama is a MILLION times better than ANY of the republicans who have managed to trick, lie, or STEAL, their way into office.
PS: what's a "leagecy?"
Time magazine's problems have nothing to do with our fine President Obama.
Their troubles mirror those being experienced by all print media and are directly attributable to the technological revolution. More and more people are seeking news from online sources, so newspapers and magazines are losing readers and advertisers.
You would know this if you knew how to read (and how to comprehend what you've read). Try to find someone to read and explain this post to you so you won't be posting such ignorant messages, AH.
The evidence is probably hidden under thick layers of ugly fat. Like, in Christie's head, for instance.
"Biggest accomplishment of President George W. Bush?"
bushhole's only accomplishment was to survive a vicious attack by an evildoer pretzel.
"Libs feed and support the cockroaches that swarm in the ghettos of America."
Thanks for your racist post, obamanation4901. You are certainly doing your part to ensure that the GOP continues to shrink into total irrelevance.
Keep up the good work, you freaking moron.
Or, do they just tell their boyfriend the ugly truth, right away...
"bring it on peewie"
Sorry to disappoint you, den, but I don't swing that way. I'm an independent and I love women (and ONLY women).
You'll have to settle for republican men, just drop your drawers and they're sure to come sniffin'. Or, sniff while coming, or, something like that. I'll leave it to you GOP pervs to figure out. Enjoy your sausage dinner, den.
And, den56kk, you'll be the butt of choice at the Larry Craig Bare-Back Riding Academy for the next 50 years.
GOP 'leaders' met to try and figure out how to stop shooting themselves in the foot. Republicans are facing an impossible situation: their heads are so far up their ases that they are dying from a lack of oxygen.
Problem is, they have no leaders with enough brains to tell them to stop digging. Many of the more doltish GOPers want to continue the war on women, blacks, hispanics, educated whites, other minorities, gays, etc., and in the process, these right wing extremists are killing the republican party.
Let's be honest, the death of the GOP would be a great thing for America. But America does need an HONEST, PATRIOTIC, minority party to keep things in balance. But the truth is, the GOP no longer fills this role. The GOP has become thoroughly corrupt and dishonest - a group of thugs obsessed with the attainment of political power for power's sake. They have no real purpose that, in any way, benefits America. Instead, today's GOP has become a burden on America - they do nothing of value, but obstruct progress, cause endless fights, and instigate many other problems. The GOP's suicide would be a true blessing for patriotic Americans. Let's all hope that suicide comes soon. RIP GOP.
"Excess of bagger wackos foaming at the mouth this morning"
That's not "foam" dripping from the mouths of baggers.
