There has been much negative press lately regarding BABA's overpaying its employees by granting excessive stock options ownership not warranted. These granting should be based not only on employee performance but stock price performance to its investors. Ma needs to address this practice if in fact this is true. We also saw negative press regarding hackers invading BABA's website and breaching customers privacy. Question is how much of this is factual or is it driven by short sellers and market makers.Good earnings are not being recognized or trusted. It is management's job to address and ease investor concerns and I don't see these guys coming forward. Ma is not showing good leadership.

All I can say is I have a friend who was diagnosed with HIV positive several years ago and he now has full-blown AIDS. He told me if it were not for Gilead's HIV drugs he would have been dead by now. GILD is much more than Hep C, they have lots of life-saving drugs and more soon to go to market. Let the liberals bellyache all they want about drug prices, but until they can find an alternative for Gilead's wonderful pipeline of life-saving drugs at a cheaper price than they should keep their damned mouths shut and let Gilead do what they do best! Save lives and research and develop more!
...company cautioned again that profit margins in its North American business in 2016 may not equal the 10.2 percent level achieved in 2015 and the stock was down 1.2 percent around $11.70 late Thursday....
By the same token, Gene Munster put his job on the line by telling folks to buy Apple ahead of earnings. Brave call considering all the manipulation we've seen by the so-called experts and their channel checks! However, even if Apple knocks the ball outta the park I'm sure they'll be those pessimists who claim they are disappointed because Apple didn't sell as many iphones or watches as they wanted to see. Amazes me how they get away with such tactics and the SEC sits blindly with the thumbs up their tush! Welcome to investing in America eh!
Perhaps it is because they already reported. Curious as to how the others will react post-earnings!
How in the heck can you compare HD to BBY? Totally different market. Electronics vs home improvement!
