This happens to me over and over again!
Earnings reports have been disgraceful under Tim Cook and even when they beat estimates, he turns around and gives the street lousy guidance for the next Quarter and is totally surprised when the stock sells off! Duh???? What's the surprise Mr. Cook? We need new blood imo!
This was not a massive run to the exits day for Apple. One of two big hedge funds reaping havoc! They did provide very good opportunity to get shares cheap.
Hmmmm! Tempting! Maybe I can finally make some of the money back that the rigged market and idiot analysts have robbed from me by owning Apple shares. Then again, if I buy PCLN shares, they'd probably bring it down since it has skyrocketed so much already! Valuation doesn't seem to matter in this game anymore. There is no logic! Dammmm If only I wasn't so scared to make this move. What to do what to do!!!
Why 10/1? Just curious. GOOG is about to split 2/1 soon. Would 10/1 put an awful lot of shares on the open market and make it move even more like a dinosaur? I'd like to see it make PCLN type moves and get the blood flowing again!
No problem. Long BWLD and I used to like MCD not now. New CEO hasn't done MCD justice imo! MCD died when Skinner exited and the divy isn't enough to make up for stock performance and dead money. I like BWLD but the technicals stink. Looked at the chart and this is the first time the stock traded below its 50 dma on the 6 month. And that selloff on Feb. 5 was huge. Not sure why it fell this hard but I guess the CEO wasn't convincing in the cc or said things that were well accepted by the street. Similar situation when FB CEO made the negative teen comment but look what that stock has done since. I fortunately bought that dip at $47 and am very pleased with how it progressed from that level. I'd like to know from veteran BWLD longs what to expect next Q when super bowl revs are included. This is not a pretty chart now. Something has to give to attract buyers back!
Granted KO is a dow component and will influence the index. PEP not! But it will still impact the beverage stocks and particularly what guidance the CEO gives going forward. I personally think GMCR was a bad decision on part of KO management. Like PEP much better!
