Why would this expected news surface on a very low volume day? Seems intentional manipulation of the stock price by somebody imo!
Says he went short on Apple. Thanks to Credit Suisse.
sos eh? Different in that we held above 100 this time for 19 sessions before dropping. Good thing maybe. I'm adding a little here as I think today's dip was due to China's economic data hurting PEP and other multinational companies. Should see $100 again very soon imo.
Its time for Apple to breakout and finally get the respect it so well deserves!!!! Best company out there!
IPO's are always scary. When RACE was originally priced for valuation $52 was placed on the table. That price was set at a high valuation. I bought a few shares when it dipped to about that level. So I am down $2 p/s now at $50.00. I intend to hold these shares longer term than just a couple of months. I'm sure I'll be in for a wild ride especially when lock-up period is in play and there may be some selloff but again longer term it may workout ok. I plan on sitting back and see where this is at a year from now. Its hit or miss. Just think where you'd be if you at bought CMG when it IPO'd closing Jan 26 2006 at $44. Not saying this will perform in the same manner but unless you're playing with the house payment why not hang in there for a year or two?
we might want to see how BIDU reports this afternoon for clues. if they beat the stock will probably skyrocket
The storefront of the store near me is very uninviting and institutional looking. I just hate it. Walgreens on the other hand is very inviting and there are always good sales. Bad decision on part of Walgreens to buy this chain.
There is a good article on Yahoo and the issue is addressed. It says if they do acquire another company, it would be small because of the stock buyback program and the dividend issuance. The Motley Fools Article is from 10/8 "Gilead is about to disappoint investors for all the right reasons." Excerpt: ...First off, Gilead has dramatically increased its share buyback program and instituted a dividend this year. You don't start upping shareholder rewards when you're gearing up for a huge acquisition. That's plain bad business management, as it would tempt the credit agencies to slash your rating.
Read it if you get a chance, its a good read.
...On October 27, 2015 the board of directors at Gilead Sciences Inc ( GILD) approved a dividend of 0.43 per share. The dividend is payable on December 30, 2015 to shareholders of record on December 16, 2015.
