Stop spamming boards of these little stocks that are going to 0 soon. Look at a stock that has a future like GENR.

Well I havn't heard much of what the future holds for me. I am a longtime MAY associate in commision area. All I have heard is that things will be lean for this year as we transition to MACYS mdse. we don't even know Macys adv. promotional calander for planning vacations. Of course we would like to take off during the non promotional periods. With the future a big ? Maybe it is time to look at other job opportunities outside Fed. because bills still have to be paid and talk about things getting better by 2008 is too long a period to go with a decreasing income. We don't know if our % commission will be reduced. Many of us had higher % and May always grandfathered us in. Also heard that we might lose personal days, no pd. sick days and medical insurance would have to be Kiaser which is not good. ???? Everything is a ??? with no answers except to be told things will get better in 2008 and on.

Yes donb't you remember on the brink of bankrupcy a couple of yrs ago. I always thought MAY would have been the one buying out FD back in the David Farrel days

  • lacythestockhog by lacythestockhog Dec 16, 2005 12:32 PM Flag

this co. has a hard road ahead. MAY was sliding for 5 yrs and FD was struggling. Probably over priced in the 60s and a very speculative play. Many obstacles ahead for a hugh co. We will see how it plays out. For the many employees of FD times will be exciting at times and hope that FD didn't bite off more then it can chew since it was not all that strong before. Look to try and pick up stock in the high 40s or low 50s. next spring. Then if FD is successfull the sky is the limit.

IIJ Launches the IIJ Quarantine Network Solution
Monday November 7, 9:36 pm ET
The Industry's First Total Quarantine Solution, from Detection to Isolation, Remediation, and Removal

TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2005--Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, NASDAQ: IIJI) today announced the release of the IIJ Quarantine Network Solution, a service that creates a secure corporate LAN network by automatically detecting and isolating improperly secured PCs that are connected to a network.

A quarantine network is a mechanism for automatically detecting PCs connected to a corporate LAN that are infected by viruses or worms, or that do not have the most recent security patches installed. The technology then forcibly isolates the problematic PCs and moves them onto a completely separate network where they cannot communicate with other PCs on a company's server. There, they can be treated and disinfected as needed.

Corporate network are becoming ubiquitous and now can often be accessed from anywhere at anytime, and while this increases convenience for the users, it also exposes the network to threats created by unsecured PCs. The Blaster worm epidemic in 2003 created widespread damage on corporate networks, and insufficient security measures have created many instances of information leaks, which makes security management of network PCs and measures for removing unsecured PCs from a corporate network an urgent priority.

The IIJ Quarantine Network Solution automatically acquires and inspects security information from PCs that are connected to the corporate network to ensure that they are running an operating system (OS) with all available security patches and the most up-to-date antivirus signature files for their antivirus software. Based on the results of this inspection, PCs not complying with company security policies are blocked from accessing corporate networks and are allowed access only to the quarantine network (treatment server etc.), thus removing ongoing threats from a company LAN and maintaining a high level of security.

IIJ has created two service types to meet the needs of different client network environments.

Type A (Gateway Type): for companies with many office locations

Well the word is that the furniture customer service operation will be moved to NY ave facility in DC. Also the whse in joppa will remain a distribution site for furniture, Mattresess and China. Some changes are still pssible . We will have to wait and see. Another facility in NJ will do Macys East in the north. IMHO
