Jagger also said: "Use ALLLL your well learned Politic. Or I'll lay your soul to waste."

    I like that one better.

  • Lady said about injectors:
"There is always going to be some feeling of pain from a needle going into you. You can minimize that but that's not the only solution. The other thing you can do is mask the feeling by introducing some other feeling. If there is a shield or a ring surrounding the needle then the patient doesn't have to see it. and if you push that shield up against your skin then you're going to feel that instead of feeling just the needle.
Sorta like if the nurse goes to inject your arm with something and pinches the area first. you feel her pinch but you don't feel the needle at all. observe that the next time you get a flu shot."

Then someone asked her a question:
    donallenthompson Asked:
"Thanks, LadyD for your comment. Would you add to your observation concerning pain? Wondering about needle free injections, are they pain free?"

    So Lady said:
While I'm very familiar with inflicting pain. I can't speak for the needle free injectors. Pain is such a lovely relative feeling. One mans pain is another mans pleasure.
If Antares would like to give me some samples for research. I'm sure I can give them a thorough report.

Sorry, I just felt I had to answer that question.

Why would a reversal in the BDI happen? other than a gut feeling? Did your Ouija board tell you?
Face it: nothing is going to happen to the BDI unless two things happen.
    Increase scrap rates.
    Increased iron ore orders.

Right now, with China not having much of an uptick. It doesn't look like much iron ore is going to be bought at the internaltional levels. The grains and coal will be all their is. and that doesn't seem to be much.

On the other hand. if china does start buying ore. it could have a pretty heavy leveraged effect if the scrap rates are high for now.

    good luck all.

ok So 15 capes get scrapped. This is like taking a pic in a snowstorm. The real question is how many capes get scrapped this first half Year verses capes coming off of the new builds?
    Plus how many pana's
    and how many Supra's
We need to know in verses out. and no reporting entity seems to produce a whole picture.
But it's hard to predict the future. For now we just need to know what the sentiment is. WIll companies scrap more than they buy?
If Grains will not help the BDI then it might be a long time before Iron ore makes a dent. How much coal is india buying? Any upturn? (doubtful a big enough increase to make a difference).
We need Iron ore to make a comeback. and we need the scrapping levels to keep high.

I know I'm stating the obvious but all these things need to happen for the BDI to bump up.
    Good luck to all.

I have a small amount of $$ in fidelity's bio tech sector fund. It's tripled in the past three years. can't complain about that.
Now there was someone a couple months ago claiming that bio was going to be the place to be this year. good luck all.

    PFE buys HSP

absolutely far out. PFE launches a blockbuster using an AI from ATRS. and buys a company that already has a boatload of prefilled (read approved) syringes mated with drugs. Talk about synergy !!
Now the PPS for ATRS rises, Teva and PFE get into a bidding war...........
    .......sweet.
