pip... why would they do that? is brazil undercutting the aussies? what research article supports your statement. The transport cost from aussie is less because of shorter distance. that alone pushes cheaper costs to china.
People. read the news articles and don't listen to what's being said by bashers/pumpers. There was one article where china was changing the game so the domestic mines (coal) could stay open at lower prices. There were some info on what india is likely going to do.
I don't always beleive the analysts but they have a lot more credence than the pumper/bashers here. Do your research !!
who made a joke? and who is calling the people in south africa "ingrates" ?? (you).
Besides, i didn't know the virus was in south africa, Liberia, nigeria, sierra leone, guinea, ivory coast, etc. (that whole gulf of guinea area.)
according to wilipedia there hasn't been an case of ebola in south africa since 1996.
despite going into cash in a big way. (read pulled my 401 k out of stock and into bonds) two weeks ago. and putting some of my play money into cash two weeks ago.... my portfolio is hemorraging too.
I doubt it. while it would be nice in africa for people to do self injection. that culture wouldn't do it. It has to be done by the local witch doctor.
I read that the us gov't is contracting a company for 1 million doses. (seems too much). and paying 25 million for them. that's 25 bucks a pop. they aren't going to add in another 3 dollars for a self injector unless there is some tangible benefit (like no need to refrigerate)
You think it'll go below 40 based on momentum? I do admit it seems possible.
I'd add another 20k shares at 35 cents. it'd bring my aggregate down to 50 cents.
I sold off when this was 88 cents. bought back at 73 then bought more at 40 cents. Waiting for a pop. but it's taking a long time.
nasty past 4 days. earnings coming out 1st full week of oct ? They close their quarter out on aug 31. Has something leaked? This is usually a good quarter for them. no news.
Whole damn market is going south methinks.
"But looked to me, that DB telling others to buy while they were selling? "
Like AIG ? or was is morgan stanley.? telling people to buy the bundled mortgages while selling default swaps. essentially selling the stuff to their own customers while betting against it.
That wouldn't happen again now would it ?
and another article says that china may change policies to keep their domestic mines open. this is from the market realist:
"Also in August, China’s coal imports—accounting for a quarter of the global coal trade—slumped to 18.86 million tons, the lowest level since September 2012. Coal consumption in the country has been hit by a combination of slower economic growth, an increased use of hydropower, and Beijing’s fight against pollution. Local prices are now at a six-year low.
Domestic coal mines in China are growing, raising fears that Beijing may bring in policies to restrict coal imports with high ash and high sulfur content. If this were to happen, a continued decline in imports could be expected."
