Hopefully he won't sue you, Osborne posts low content articles with at least some supporting opinion or data. The are worth a glance and that's about all. He probably supports himself doing this, for which I commend him. He will get better over time and may actually be worth reading someday.
Someone is paying attention to all the positives or the numbers have leaked out and are exceptional or......maybe some pending news.....In any case, the future is quite compelling, especially if the sales begin to move as we expect.
Rubbish post exaggerating the negatives in a highly inaccurate article. MDs, the well informed and growing patient base know the real facts.
The positive news trickling out every day will grow into a flood of good news and a flood of Rxs in the relatively near future IMO.
If so, declaring a .001 per share (or whatever) one time stock dividend would shake out naked shorts and phantom shares and would not require any cash. Could this work?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Arena needs to meet face to face with CS and shove the facts in their face and demand that a correction be released immediately. Additionally the need to have face to face meetings with other key analysts and institutions to deliver the hard facts as well. Staying silent implies that the CS report is credible. A positive conference call with solid substance and a candid update is certainly needed as well.
If Arena can't drive a solid PR program, they should hire someone who can.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Manipulation, negative media, news vacuum, no or ineffective PR, flaccid IR, weak handed short term longs.
I'm not very smart or I would have sold at $11+......longer term....we'll see who is smart....Zacks, Motley Fools, Michael Murphy, patient longs or ......Telecaster, et al......
Discounted cash flow of the next ten years, based presented in several very conservative models shows a NPV that yields a share price well above $50. Even the worst case scenarios show a NPV that supports a $22 share price.
Your assumption is for $.18 forever, which is clearly wrong.
Using your formula, in 6 months we would be seeing 20-25,000 Rx per month and growing fast from there to over 600,000 in the 12th month.... not realistic...
I believe the HbA1c reduction was observed in non-responders as well as responders, thereby demonstrating that the effect was independent of weight loss.
Lots of shorts masquerading as scared, frustrated longs announcing that they have sold. Hedgies may be covering and going long later in the day, after all the weak hands have turned their money over to the crooks.
Please list Hillary's top five accomplishments in the senate.......er, how about ONE? So.....did Hillary really go to sleep while Ambassador Stevens and 5 other Americans were murdered in Benghazi??
Interesting point......400,000,000 people, world-wide, on Belviq for their entire adult lives....keeping their weight down and enjoying the benefits of lowered A1c and reduced dependence on nicotine and other addictions......
He can drive them out in part by declaring a tiny stock dividend or even issuing some guidance that is nothing more than a derivative of Eisai's guidance. He can develop a PR and IR strategy that involves face to face presentations to institutions. They can provide status on refiling in Europe and progress and expectations in other regions......etc....etc....etc.....The can avoid 8k gaffes....
No, a VVUS failure hurts the entire weight loss market and casts doubt on all players. Many Drs are very wary of ANY weight loss drug after the phenphen debacle. IMO Qsymia should have never been approved; consumers (Drs and patients) are doing what the FDA should have done.... reject Qsymia.
He feels fine. He knows what lies ahead and is confident and assured, as are all the other fine people at Arena. He is working hard on new partnerships for Belviq, re-submission in Europe, approvals around the world and is pushing the pipeline forward, knowing that Belviq will be a blockbuster. He may also be ready to declare a dividend or announce a new partnership signing. He is smiling as he hears chatter about the Eisai ads in national magazines and is looking forward to announcements from Ildong about success in the Temanogrel trial and to receiving a $2million payment and he is looking forward to announcing that Belviq sales are growing and that Arena beat the street for Q3. He is thinking about projects to explore other indications for Belviq, including type 2 diabetes and addictions as well as the broader 5-H2c opportunity and thinking with the discussions he and his staff have had with interested BPs.............yes, he feels fine.
Good Rx numbers tomorrow will really compound the upward pressure from this news and the conference call. We could have nice gap up and a trend change tomorrow that will really lay the foundation for a short squeeze. Once it starts, it could run into the 20s very quickly. Eisai's comments about expectations of "much higher sales" in Q4 (Q1 of 14) is not a glib comment...it is serious guidance from a conservative company. It is going to be very interesting and much better for longs going forward.....and the possibility of a takeover bid is always there and heightened by the validation of Belviq.
Yes, the taxpayers pay for the prisons and mental institutions. Maybe they have a spelling and literacy class for you there too.
As each patient success occurs, it will spawn exponential growth as patients share their success with friends, family, co-workers, etc. When the word gets out about the effect on diabetes (obviously a huge problem), that will spur growth as well. Add the possibility of a buy-out and China approval as well as partnerships along the way and the pipeline and this looks like a solid bet.
