There is NO FREAKIN way AMD will miss on revenue unless the ANALysts recently raised the estimate.
Unfortunately what Intel does on earnings also affects AMD and the rest of the PC sector.
Pullbacks are normal, nothing goes straight up.
Stocks go up, pull back, consolidate then continue its uptrend again provided fundamentals are all good and not out of favor.
That is what's u r hoping, history does not always repeat itself, theres a first time for everything, history does not dictate the future.
I say You have a 50% chance.
The average user uses their computer for surfing, paying bills, checking email AND occasional light gaming so YES AMD APU is more than adequate, the problem is marketing.
Also those idiots working at Frys don't know any better, they always recommend Intel and I suspect it's because the margin on those intel machines is higher.
If you call yourself a (bigger) moron what makes you think we will believe you that AMD will reach $15 ??
Two parts are shipping in January, the $173 priced A10 7850K and A10 7700K priced at $152. The kicker is that both parts are shipping with a Battlefield 4 bundle, adding $59.99 of value.
So the net cost for 7850K = 173 - 59 = $114 and 7700K = 152 - 59 = $93, of course prices will vary from vendor to vendor due to availability, still excellent value if you ask me.
"Literally making posts that are felonies."
Give me a break ! This is msg board, it's purely for entertainment purposes, anyone who comes here seeking buy/sell recommendation deserves to lose.
can you confirm that ?
Those who get picked on don't mind, it's msg board, it's not like FB where everyone knows where you live and what you look like.
It's all fun.
They're ok, I don't imagine them losing a lot since some of them bought calls to hedge their short positions.
If you don;t see them today it's probably because they have gone long.
The TREND is your FRIEND.
Watch the last 1/2 hr, some shorts prefer waiting till near the end of market.
Check out yesterday's action during the last 15 mins, you will see a lot of buying (covering).
