Looks like they are on pace to match their best years revenues (or just shy) , but with higher margins, lower expenses and sales are beginning to accelerate. This is exactly when one wants to find/invest in an undiscovered growth play, before the masses figure it out. This is easily worth more than $100 million valuation. Its not overinflated like so many other stocks in this bull market.

I wonder if this presentation was created to present to the institutional investors visiting this week

Impressive list of "strong customer relationships" in there as well.

You are correct, i had "3 months" selected for your post history and you only had 2 posts. I apologize

  • landofmilkandmoney landofmilkandmoney Jul 8, 2014 12:23 PM Flag

I dont post a bunch of innuendo and misinfo, unlike the shorts bashing this stock. I was challenged and backed it up.

I dont see them countering with any substance, just personal attacks and innuendo

Again, i posted that older news because the merits of the product was being challenged. They contain info on USDA approval, cycle speeds, etc, which is important when it comes to understanding their market advantage/uniqueness

The contract PR from December is still valid because it takes several months to produce a "fleet" order and we could see the numbers reflected in the upcoming report.

I provided my opinion as to why the stock dropped. Its a short attack imo

Let me guess, you created this new "robotics4" alias just to bash ADEP? Are you working for the short hedge fund as well?

  • landofmilkandmoney landofmilkandmoney Jul 8, 2014 9:31 AM Flag

Sorry i mean two weeks, not "three weeks". Numbers are posted in half month intervals

  • landofmilkandmoney landofmilkandmoney Jul 8, 2014 9:29 AM Flag

Overplayed or not, i am using the NUMBERS.

On 5/15 there were 359,505 shares short. 2 weeks later, on 5/30 there were 429,034 short

THEN, on 6/13 (2 weeks later) there were 585,666 short. On a percentile basis that is rapid increase over a very short time. In three weeks it went up by 150,000+, which is 35% increase in only two weeks

When they post the numbers for the 2nd half of June, i bet its much higher and most all of these shares were shorted under $12, which is why they could not let it continue to climb from Thursdays closing high/breakout. They panicked, attacked it and drove it down in a way to scare people out imo. Normal people dont dump so aggressively, they would want the best price for their shares. There was no underlying reason to dump it to new 6 months low, which usually means a stock is a strong buy

I think this is more logical and supported than claiming it is insiders with inside knowledge dumping. There is not a shred of proof to supports that your claim, NONE. That was very freak trading action and i bet it influences some positive news soon, making it a strong buy on this dip.

You are full of #$%$, i have posted like this when its going up and going down. You can click my name and see for yourself. Ive been posting here since last year. The only time i stopped posting was for like a month, after i sold the high teens and waited for it to consolidate. This board was dead anyways over that period

Some were questioning the merits of Adepts robotics, which is why i posted those news releases. You provide nothing of substance in your messages, only personal attacks.

  • landofmilkandmoney landofmilkandmoney Jul 7, 2014 11:09 PM Flag

All you do is attack. You seem more concerned with those of us that are positive, than the company

My first buy here was last year just below $6 and i traded it many times until the high teens. Yes, i am down on my recent buys but at this valuation it wont take much to push it back up.

Modernization Act Boon for Robot Food Handlers

Unexpected outcome of 2011 law spurs future robot-only food industry
    By Tom Green
Mega changes afoot for a mega industry

An unforeseen consequence—collateral damage, if you will—of the Food Modernization Act of 2011 (officially, the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Public Law 353), has created and is continuing to foster a mega opportunity for the overhaul of all food production in the U.S.—by robots!

Since we all have to eat—frequently, it goes without saying that the food industry in the U.S. must be one of staggering proportions, and it most surely is. According to Plunkett Research, U.S. consumers spend approximately $1.8T annually on food, or nearly 10 percent of the Nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Additionally, 16.5M people are employed in the food industry.

According to Glenn Hewson, Adept Technology’s senior vp of marketing, the impact of the law is moving steadily across the entire food industry. He told reporters at the recent Pack Expo that food producers have to meet the Food Modernization Act’s safety sanitation requirements, or else.

Standards previously applicable only to USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture) for meat, poultry and dairy, have now been extended into every aspect of food production. “If I’m picking apples,” he said, “I’m under the same microscope as meat, poultry and dairy.”

Look up the Quattro on Youtube, there are many videos of it being used for different types of products, even feathers

The manipulation is blatant. There is no reason for this to be down 12% today after closing at the highs on Thursday with above average buy volume.

Its obvious that the shorts got nervous that it was going to start moving up and attacked it, which caused the weak buyers from last week to start bailing.

Adept Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADEP), the leading provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded the company three patents on its innovative Smart Camera systems. U.S. Patents Nos. 6,958,780, 6,988,008 and 7,174,224, each titled "Smart Camera," detail systems and methods for machine control systems employing digital cameras.

The Adept patents cover the application of new Smart Cameras with robotics or motion mechanisms where the image processing is done within the camera versus traditional PC-based systems. This lowers the cost of vision adoption in assembly and material handling manufacturing applications. The granting of these patents means that Adept now owns more than a dozen patents covering the core technology for vision-guided robotics systems.
