In our state diesel is 87 cents more a gallon than gas. I feel sorry for the independent truckers and the big diesel pick up truck owners. In Europe the cost difference between the two fuel types is negligible and in most cases diesel is cheaper. Thus the higher demand for anything diesel.
Ford is moving up with more believers and they are getting in.
Not once today did F go into the red.
This is what you look for with a stocks uptrend potential.
I believe it. As I said before, anyone living in the rust belts of america and thinking of a new truck would be a fool not to select the new F150
And they failed for another day. But once again the volume was not there. I want to see above average volume.
As for me, I bought more shares before the close.
F has been up all day on good volume. The big buys are wanting in and the upgrades will be forthcoming.
The shorts are very worried about Fords new auto process's with aluminum and Fords plans for two more vehicle roll outs in next year.
Ford was straight forward with their cost's associated with these changes along with forward guidance that turned many stock holders away.
The middle of next year will prove that Ford does have a better idea.
As a north east person many years ago and having a snowplow we would always do what you have said. But now you can put salt bags in the back as ballast.
The Longs and the Shorts.
The battle started yesterday when RAD did not go below the $5.50 mark.
As we move along this tight rope during the next few days or weeks, the retail investors will have a clearer picture as to where RAD is heading. It's been a revolving door for some time.
Where it goes from here is anyones guess.
Bottom line, you need to see more upward thrust in RAD's price with higher than normal volume.
Of course if the price drops much lower with higher than normal volume then we have a problem.
Only time will tell.
P.S. They lost it in the last few minutes. Now for the rest of the week can they hold the uptick?
For myself, I think they will.
all aluminum Ford truck.
The big boys are seeing F, once again, as a good investment.
Now we hopefully will start seeing some upgrades from the big investment funds who jumped all over FORD today.
The big boys are afraid to let it go higher and lose their money making machine on pushing this stock up and down and collecting mucho dollars from the lows and highs.
U.S. Army helicopter pilot supporting Marines 1966-1967. To my Marine buddies
Semper Fi. Also to my late father and brother, marines, thanks for your service.
God bless you all.
Driving a truck for business or pleasure costs more than most other forms of vehicle transportation. Those who say F made a poor decision due to current lower fuel costs have no idea what they are saying and cant see the forest through the trees. The following is important to consider and think about.
#1 Gas savings is a priority and doesn't care what fuel costs are. You still save money.
#2 F has embarked on a great future with aluminum. Many future models will also have the aluminum body and will be embraced by other manufacturers. Many have switched already, but only include aluminum in certain parts of the cars.
#3 For anyone contemplating a truck purchase, in the future, and live in the rust belt would be a fool to not consider the new Ford 150.
#4 Yes, F has spent a great deal of money in this new technical change. Also has sacrificed a great deal of lost sales due to plants being shut down for the cross over. A big risk for sure, but will pay big dividends for those who believe in Ford as an investor.
As I have said time and time again, RAD is a great play for the big boys. They play it like a fiddle. Up and down and all around.
But, and I say But, RAD is a long term hold. Let the big guns ride it up and down for a few cents either way.
In the long run RAD is a good turnaround story. But you need to have big soccer balls to play it.
As a retail investor, its not for the faint of heart, nor to put money here that you cannot afford to lose.
For me as a long term investor, who can afford to lose money, I believe in the future for RAD.
Unlike Casey, who I have on ignore, the future IMHO for RAD is pretty good.
By the way, I don't have ACE on ignore, which may be Casey. But ACE has been my buddy trying to knock RAD down time and time again for the last few years. He is pretty good on pointing out all the negatives with RAD.and has some good points to consider before you invest.
But for me, I disagree, as I have for the past few years.
By the way I've done very well with RAD unlike ACE.
It was one of the biggest mistakes of our country. If they were still around we wouldn't have isis at the level they are now. It must break their hearts to know that after all their lost and wounded troops in Iraq were in vain.
But, they have shown little response publicly about the isis situation and what they would have done differently if still in their capacity, before they were retired /fired. And also why they were retired/fired in the first place and by whom.
Will she be beholden to POTUS and all the Reverends who continue to look after only blacks, and disregard all other ethnic groups? Or will she be a great Atty. general for her race and gender, to bring real justice to her position and grapple the problems that this administration has ignored. Case in point, the IRS.
I think others feel the same. So they may ignore you as well. I have not read a message from you the past two months since I put you on ignore. But I see you are responding to messages all day long until the market closes.
As far as ACE is concerned, I read his messages because we have been on this board for years and he has some good points for bashing RAD where nnI don't. We are respectful to each others opinions and don't trash each other. AS for me you all know I like diamonds in the rough, which I feel is RAD stock.
RAD is like watching a pot boil. And many times the flame goes out. Then the flame comes back on and you need to watch the pot boil all over again. It is frustrating for short timers but for long term holders there may be good times ahead.IMHO
By the way, Buythisdog is now being put on ignore as well.
The black population, which by the way, the majority are fine people, need to come to Jesus and make a major decision.
Do we want to continue and turn our heads to drugs, beatings, killings, robberies and steeling in our neighborhoods? Also to stop listening to the people who continue to drive a wedge between white and black people. Everyone knows who these race batting individuals are. To be called reverends is a discrase to themselves and everyone who follows them and listens to them.
The black population need to take out these criminals, the police cannot do this job as you know.
They need to demand a good education for their children and break the cycle of being left behind in a great country.
Think about why Asians and Hispanics have done so well.
It's from hard work, no matter what the work is, education and family control over their youth.
