The 5.6% unemployment rate is a sham. If you want the real number Look at how many full time people were employed at the beginning of 2009, and how many part-time people were employed at the beginning of 2009. Compare that to the Number of full and part-time workers at the beginning of 2015.

Here is what you will get. Total number of employed will be less in 2015, total number of full time will be much less, and the total number of part-time will be more.

Net/Net in total fewer workers in 2015, more part-time. Another stat that backs this up is that the total number on welfare and total number getting food stamps has almost doubled.

The real unemployment rate is probably around 18-19%.

    ANR: Pre-market: 1.64 -0.23 (-12.30%)

Actually he is betting it won't go to zero or under .50. If it drops below .5 he has to buy 1 million shares. A put seller , unless closing a position, is generally optimistic about the stock or is confident a floor has or will be set.

Based on the volume fewer sellers, or the hedge shorts are on fall vacation. Option volume is lame.

German Coal Company RAG buyout rumors

Maybe someone, but doubt it would be RAG. They are now managed by the state, have sold almost all their foreign coal interest, and have plans to totally shut down all coal mining ops in Germany by 2018.

But at the same conference Cructhfield indicated he might be a buyer of more assets for the right price. Maybe I misunderstood that.

Am I the only dumb sucker still holding. I'm in at an average of $3.50, seems like everyone is selling. Where is all this volume coming from. It appears these large short positions are just buying and selling between themselves driving the price down.

    Sentiment: Hold

All of these shorts and longs talking about value, BK, and going out of business.

Even if ANR just called it quits, right now today, someone would buy it for $18 per share. regardless of debt. No question. It would save them millions. Coal is needed world wide, but coal will come back in America once the government figures out it has been duped, like Benghazi, like mexicio, like VA, the IRS, holy #$%$ when does it stop, maybe with the latest #$%$ move of sending 5 terrorists home.
