Yes, increDIBLE ! I am way down with GIGM over the years but have felt shares would at least rise more than most anything else I could put my money in.
Back about 2 months ago Motley Fool came out with a number of its top picks. DISCA was one of them...but its not working too well for them as of the moment. I'll be interesting to see where 'the dust' settles. Someone has to know DISCA results aren't good the way this has been dropping.
I'm going to have to start buying more Zack # 5's ! I'm almost back above water after adding below $4. Wish I'd picked up more.
Don't know as to 'idiocy', but I do advise him to take a day off now and then and head for some nearby beach. (And for 'nearby' Ackman's type still considers Bermuda that, don't you know ! ). Or just maybe check into his neighborhood tanning salon. The last I saw Ackman looked like something that had just crawled out from 'between a rock and a hard place'.
Last I heard this was about NUS, 'axxhxxx'......Oh, and by the way, does Ackman 'pay your rent' ? Sure sounds like it.
Chinese don't have the weight problems Americans have.....although if they keep adding U.S. fast food places, they soon might have. !
If it weren't for stocks like SPPI to bash, some of these 'trashers and bashers' might be out sneaking around (lol) for some way to acquire a few of those '40 celestial virgins in paradise', so I for one am mighty glad they have found some other, less destructive way to discharge a bit of that free-floating hatred and ill-will they bear toward almost everything around them.
I suppose he thinks he has better judgment than The Street, which puts a B+ to HLF, or than the great majority of analysts - 4 Strong Buys, 2 Buys, 1 Hold.
I wish now I hadn't sold 2/5 of my HLF at $61 back four or five months ago. Sure it was for about 10% profit in less than a year, but look at all the extra money I could have had if I had just held on for today's $75 !! Be damned if I let.......Ackman, et al, chase me out of any more. I'm still above water down to $46.
I had no idea I'd get back above level with VTR with the recent 'add' around $57. I was seeing the advice it was oversold, I suspected by its fall that it probably was. Louis Navellier recommended it up in the high $60 's,, then cut and ran around $64. I prefer not to do that, waiting for a likely time to 'double down' - and it has paid off, as of now.
3083 ?! Does anyone at YAHOO ever look at the junk put up on its Finance pages and try to clean some of it out ?......Or is it they just don't do arithmetic very well, say to the level of the 3rd grade ? Obviously this new CEO they have - whatever her name is - is no perfectionist.
Maybe CLB will come along and offer something. Meanwhile I'm glad to have gotten out around $3.70 with a small loss. This was a Hillary Kramer recommendation but she dropped it up about $4.50. I thought when it got about $3.90..........
I keep seeing how RFMD might be a better investment than TQNT - but how do you buy a 'falling knife' ? I'm going to check out the absolute bottom of its chart (lol).
Yeah, that's about the way I feel. WTI is way too volatile for any one with a weak heart. I'm up by a few dollars mainly because of the dividend over 2 1/2 years but I would never add unless it dropped well below my break-even of approx. $11.50.
The earth's temp. is rising. Get over it. The so called Arctic Vortex is an anomalous 'blip' related to conditions in the upper atmosphere. The temp. of sea water around the world is rising, unaffected by short term weather/wind patterns......Oh, and by the way, you may see just about any cockeyed thing on YouTube.
