All I know is they'll run just about any ad they can get away with - for example, White House Scandal ! Could be the end for Obama ? B.S. along those lines ! I wouldn't touch YHOO with a ten foot pole ! Anything to rake in money with that outfit.
Ackman has 'character problems' among others : he's too 'proud' to let it go and admit defeat !
I don't see any immediate relief in sight for Ackman since no one's going to be selling any HLF until at least the first of next year. Come April they be facing too much capital gains taxes from profits....I know that's what I'd be facing.
Fortunately, I did sell about 1/4 of my small position yesterday. SALE is just too volatile and had run up nicely. My 'crystal ball' isn't always so 'knowing'. If it goes much below my breakeven of now approx. $27.50, I might consider adding back.
You forget China, India, Mexico, Central and So. America.......Indonesia, etc. etc....In fact, most of the world ! Duh !
How come YAHOO shows a $52 target ? Is that just YAHOO sloppiness in its finance section (which wouldn't be surprising, incidentally) ? Or does it just anticipate a 2 for 1 split ? (lol)
She doesn't want to face any more 'stinging questions' from the persistently howling U.S. corporate media as to her dad's 'failure to respond' on 9/11, allowing that super-fast Flight 77 to strike the Pentagon, as so clearly shown to the world public following the reluctant release by the FBI of a second or two of wrongly date-stamped, grainy, and possibly tampered with video imagery taken by cameras designed to show who enters and who leaves a parking lot.
Yahoo is forever changing their formats. Strikes me as desperation on their part ! Besides that, their finance section frequently presents users with time-consuming, frustrating glitches. This morning I could not access My Portfolio for an hour and more., I was repeatedly asked to enter my password to enter My Portfolio, my one and only password - duh ! - which I have used for years. This standard, one-and-only password was not accepted and I was 'kicked back' to try again. Suddenly then after a hour or more of this, the system recognizes my password and all is back to normal. What I am saying is that Yahoo Finance is unreliable and if the rest of their business operates like the Finance Section, they're headed for a 'crash'...if not outright bankruptcy.
The earth's temp. is rising. Get over it. The so called Arctic Vortex is an anomalous 'blip' related to conditions in the upper atmosphere. The temp. of sea water around the world is rising, unaffected by short term weather/wind patterns......Oh, and by the way, you may see just about any cockeyed thing on YouTube.
Yeah, that's about the way I feel. WTI is way too volatile for any one with a weak heart. I'm up by a few dollars mainly because of the dividend over 2 1/2 years but I would never add unless it dropped well below my break-even of approx. $11.50.
I keep seeing how RFMD might be a better investment than TQNT - but how do you buy a 'falling knife' ? I'm going to check out the absolute bottom of its chart (lol).
Maybe CLB will come along and offer something. Meanwhile I'm glad to have gotten out around $3.70 with a small loss. This was a Hillary Kramer recommendation but she dropped it up about $4.50. I thought when it got about $3.90..........
3083 ?! Does anyone at YAHOO ever look at the junk put up on its Finance pages and try to clean some of it out ?......Or is it they just don't do arithmetic very well, say to the level of the 3rd grade ? Obviously this new CEO they have - whatever her name is - is no perfectionist.
