the article is 1000% accurate. You dont have to be an economist to see the reality of this situation. They gave away a ton of stock way under market price to raise a small amount. There is NOTHING positive about that other than they can pay their bills for another quarter.
And, 7M is only for enought money to carry them another quarter. So this will be a quarterly thing as they contiue to burn cash, do low largin installs and buy companies that also are a mess and burning cash.
Why are you even on this board?, you have nothing to say and or contribute ever. Does VR pay you to sit on the board and defend him? Wouldnt be surpised. Now that is a great and rewarding job, well done kk7cc I am sure your parents and family are proud.
Agreed, I believe VR was a true thought leader and visionary when he wrote the "Power of Now" and pushed TIBCO forward around RVD messaging and active enterprise. The entire pub/sub and integration revolution was created by him. But, like you said. It is time for a new leader that can figure out what to do with TIBCO. Bradley is NOT the guy. They need someone that can execute and renew the vision of the stack and products. VR can spend time on his other interests and get away from the mess at TIBX.
There has been years of hearing about this huge product pipeline and nothing new has developed. At the same time, the leadership team has done a great job turning APPL into more of a financial engineering play than product innovator. Really, the only thing that drove this stock was the great job they to give back some of the $ and a split to get shares down a bit. Outside of that, it has been version upgrades odf the same product and a lot of noise about these products that have been "coming" for years. At this point APPL should be a staple in your portfolio for steady returns, but the big return days are long gone. APPL is just not an innovator any longer. Buying Beats is a good indicator of that as well.
We have heard for three years about this amazing product pipeline. So far it has been nothing but speculation. When is APPL going to REALLY announce another game changer?
Actually, I have already made that and more. Made lots of it from TURDCO when the company WAS on the leading edge. You are just a lonely deweloper for TURDCO earning those tiny stock options that are worthless. Good luck with that one, your heading no where with VR as your leader.
Vivek makes 50M a year and doesn't do anything for TIBCO, maybe he can give some of that easy money or some worthless turdco stock to his players to stay.
I am suprised your still showing yourself on this board considering how ugly TURDCO did last week. What a trainwreck, pretty laughable how ugly things are there. Why do you work for a company with such a terrible leadership team and stale product stack. I feel sorry for you, most be hard to live with yourself.
When a company already has terrible margins, paying more for a "commodity" like solar panels is a total waste. So the margins go down another 15%, that is great news ? Atleast they are made in the US ? Now that is a stupid investment plan and logic.
To further the thought, I thought RGSE signed a large deal with Canadian Solar last year and was paying less than .55/watt. SolarWorld is close to 1.25/watt, so this will further hurt RGSE's margins.
SolarWorld were getting their butts kicked by other solar module manufacturers, so they decide to get the government to help them compete and raise the prices here in the US. Solar needs to get cheaper, not more expensive and that is what they tried to make happen. That blew up in their face and they lost most of their market share. Why would RGSE partner with a company that has a motive of driving up the price of solar? If they were smart they would have bought a small solar module maker like SCTY did and really add value to the supply chain and company. You can buy solar module makers for pennys on the dollar right now, that is SCTY did. That is what a company with vision does.
No one believes a word that VR says, so he can beat the table all he wants as to how valuable TURDCO is, but no one will listen. I would not be suprised to see $16-17 range after the call. There is no short term reason to own this stock. No leadership, value prop is gone and the technology value is nothing more then its install base that is too lazy to rip it out. The SAP buyout news and the shareholder activism where great chances to get out in the near term, now the longs have to hold on for another two years and or hope VR gets hit in the head with a basketball and has to retire from TURDCO.
FB is tired and users are dropping like flies. Lets not fool outselves, this isnt Goog or APPL here. What FB has is lots of valuable data. It needs to spin off a unit that sells that data as needed to different markets. The rest of the story is going to be yesterdays news.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
I have followed TIBX closely since 2000. I have to say, the Website and overall story is as tired as I have seen.
It looks like an IBM or HP site, too many products that look the same and or overlap. You can tell they are trying to highlight BI and downplay integration. But the reality here is they are getting their butts kicked in the BI space and dont have a chance. Their claim to fame was connecting people, data and processes in real time. That seems to have been lost with this big data dream that they havent executed on. With that, the 20M enterprise deals are lost too and they are selling a BI widget for a few hundred thousand. The whole story was very tight in the glory days. Now, it is about a bunch of products and tools and no vision at all. I guess that is what happens when the CEO decides to focus on other projects.
