The point being that the royalty rate ... though it could be low, would still result in a huge windfall for AGEN if the shingles vaccine is, in Dr. Armen's words, BLOCKBUSTER.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I personally think it's helpful to read Dr. Armen's bio. In my mind it says it all. To me, he's a great strategist. I know the past several years have been tough. He experienced the same thing with ELN back in the day. People who stuck with him through it all were handsomely rewarded.
Hmmmmm ... must have upset someone. Why ever unless you're short? In any case, interesting that I post the twitter I read yesterday and now it's down. Someone wants to accumulate before ...?
Interesting. Someone posted a terrific write up of the interconnections between Pfizer, GSK, Incyte, and Merck on twitter regarding AGEN. Simply put in $agen in the search box.
My point being that they are still 60%+ invested in the company. I could be reading this wrong, but I think that's still a considerable investment and a confirmation that they're committed to Agen
Dr. Armen had said that a deal would be coming by the end of the year. It was close!
Had you figured! Certainly you fooled no one ... but yourself? Now go ... honestly, you've done your time, and wasted it by the way. Did this response give you .32 cents??????
I believe you are correct. That's what I wrote first, then decided to check a source which stated 'first rights to buy.' Figured I could be wrong(!), so re-wrote the sentence. Thanks for catching it.
I'm neither 'here nor there' about Cramer, but one thing he did say that I felt was so true, was that AGEN was up 'only' 29% (or so). Friday's action reminded me of what occurred a few years ago when, during a conference call, Dr. Armen stated that GSK was giving us millions of dollars (9?) up front AND (!) (and unfortunately I'll get this somewhat wrong) wanted to have first rights to buy the company. I watched and saw virtually nothing happen ... right away. I couldn't believe my eyes ... the news was so good and the share price didn't jump wildly. I went ahead and bought. It was the next day that things started moving, and the next. I just have to believe ~~ regardless of Cramer's comment, as more people have time to review and think about what is/has transpired, we'll see a lot higher price action ahead of us. And that's no pump!
