For anybody who sold CLCT in TY2014, you may be receiving a Revised 1099 from your broker as a result of a revision to CLCT Return of Capital. Already received 3 Corrected 1099's at this end.
Orderly exit by the shorts over the last couple of years............if they were wrong over the past few years and a majority of them have now covered their short position, what does that bode for the rest of this year?
Don't think so bud........followed him out of majority of my position last couple of trading days in Oct. Pretty spot on on his analysis at the time.
Investors becoming wise to the sell off after the ex date, shorts too. Don't think we'll see the fairly significant drop that occurred after the past few ex dates though.
Schwab just sent out revised 1099's........looks like 33% of CLCT divs are now classified as ROC so you were correct
In taxable accounts one needs to keep good records of reinvested dividends and the quantity of shares purchased with each case of reinvestment. If I were to reinvest dividends as they are received, I prefer to do it in a retirement account....less record keeping.
