You have to be delusional. LINE does not have cash from either Drillco or Acquisco. These are simply press releaases that if LINE can come up with an appropriate offering of assets, the two equity funds may invest up to the announced amount. To suggest that this is money sitting in LINE's bank account waiting to be invested is ludicrous. To date, despite all the publicity, no deals have come forward. Let's see if LINE is actually able to make an offering to the private equity firms that they think is economically attractive. GLTA

Watching LINE closely and it looks like they plan to wipe out all the value in the 10 strike puts and calls today. Hopefully, next week will be better as the same people will want to sell July puts and calls. GLTA

A lot a acquistion forms filed with the SEC by insiders today. They're probably compensation units but if you look at the accumulated number of shares the insiders own, they're clearly aligned with the unitholders. GLTA

Oh, come on. Why such negativism. It had a tremendous run to $9.13 yesterday. Almost 5%. It's got to give a little of that back before going higher. We're now at $9.06. Off $.07 . I don't call that "fading fast". I call that normal pull back after an exciting advance. GLTA

    Alerian MLP Index

I don't get the Wunderlich reports. After you read it, would appreciate it if you would share the content. I saw they put a target of $14 a share and believe the LGCY is going to add more hedges for 2016 production and that this will increase the coverage of the distribution. Sounds pretty good. GLTA

Well, I for one don't know. I'm not wired into the Alerian Group. I've noticed, however, that indexes like to keep rising. Like the DOW or SPX, when a component starts to drag behind, they get rid of it. Maybe it is a sign that the particualr component is a bad stock. Still, I think it has to do more with stock action than fundamentals. We'll see. GLTA

LGCY just got removed from the Alerian MLP Index. That could explain all the heavy selling the last several weeks. It has nothing to do with LGCY's fundamentals. It's all about an index getting rid of a substantial position to readjust its portfolio. GLTA

I keep talking to myself. Sorry. Still, Wunderlich came out today with a $15 target price. They're concerned as all of us with the GS ATM offering. Still, there is some real value here in the assets. GLTA

Sorry. I meant $8.47. I sometimes let my typing get ahead of my brain. Also the calls would be $9 strike price. GLTA

Just bot 1000 shares at $9.47. Tomorrow, if we have a little bounce, I'll sell 10 July 10 calls for $500 less commissions. Just keep selling the next series of calls and you'll have a very nice investment platform with limited downside. GLTA

I wouldn't be so pestimistic. The current stock action feels like a lender selling off pledged shares. Perhaps certain members of management pledged their stock for personal loans. Who knows? What you're seeing is that the market makers know there is an overhang of supply to be sold and therefore the bids just keep going down to get the stock cheaper. Hopefully this will end at some point where the value of the company's assets are recognized. GLTA

What dreaded double bottom are you talking about? Give me prices and dates. Thanks. I personally can't see it in the price charts. GLTA

  • First you have a penny stock that tells everyone that they need to reduce their debt to comport with the lower world prices for oil and gas. Presto-Digitoe, the company that knew they had to reduce debt now issues over a billion in new debt. There must be some serious sponsors behind the stock price of this company since they apparently borrowed the money at 8.75% which is very good when you consider all the companies considering "drillco" options where the investor gets 15% return before the company gets any return. I think this is strictly a fronting company for some big investors who will lend money cheaply and reap their rewards from the stock price appreciation. This is too fast a game for me to play. GLTA

Sounds like easy money. I'm sure your broker makes you hold funds in your account to collateralize your naked open put position. How much do you have to keep in your account as collateral for the transaction you described. Thanks. GLTA

Someone, maybe the market maker, is manipulating the price of this stock mercilessly. It's thinly traded and thus susceptible to someone running the price up or down with just a little capital. Today we got we over $11 a unit only to be pounded down to $10.75. The pps is now recovering but at the end of the day, who cares? I own 10,000 shares and am pleased with the distribution return and believe it will go back up when commodity prices improve; GLTA

  • Just listened to the webcast of today's conference presentation. I thought it was excellent and am happy to have this team investing in the oil and gas market for me. A great tax-advantaged distribution return, a great balance sheet with lots of liquidity and great assets. If I understood the presentation correctly, they're seeing 35-40% investment rates of return on new wells even at current commodity prices. That's fabulous. I also like the fact that management owns 15% or the units so their motives are aligned with unit holders. All and all, I'm comfortable even though the industry is going through a rough transition. GLTA

  • Think about it. LINE through it's stock managers was able to place 16 million shares in one day at $11.79. I have to assume the buyers were not retail buyers but rather large institutional or private equity folks. I think the buyers are sophisticated and would not have bought at that price if they didn't think there was some value. I just bought at $11.20 and feel pretty good about my investment. GLTA

  • What's the deal an the amended credit agreement? Looks like LINE's borrowing base got cut back whereas Berry's got increased. Any clarification from knowledgable posters would be appreciated. GLTA

Isn't this XOM acquisition talk a bit silly. XOM last year unloaded on LINE gas assets it wanted to get rid of. Why would they want to buy the assets back now at a premium? GLTA
