There was no tax on LNCO as was return of capital.

It will be at lower capital gains rate. With LINN there will be recapture which is at regular tax rates. That is one reason I prefer LNCO.

I think they are getting religion as to preventing another spill with a big help from the EPA. Check where their pipe crosses the st Clair river . Damaged pipe in a very important location and they have change their mind to fix it. They were going to let it go. They are replacing pipe instead of just patching at the last spill.
I don't know if the operating people have got it yet. The big Mich spill was first stopped one nite and they figured it was an error so they restarted and pumped for some time more with a big hole.

Goldman? I have shares in Kinder Morgan and see when Goldman helps out the share price goes up but the original sharehold don't get it. Guess who does. The originals sued but get little. If Liwa is worth 40 Goldman will get you your $10. Goldman's record is on the internet.
