This Wyoming decision in all probability sealed the fate for ANR to seek Chapter 11. These mom and pops will ultimately do better than 14.5 cents on the dollar in BK so why sell?
It's called Chapter 11 Reorganization. They would be able to issue a trainload of shares to compensate the Debtors. There's only around 200 million shares O/S currently.
Something is supposed to happen in the 3rd qtr. according to management. Is that when we can expect the Official Proxy Notice?
Why in the freak'n world would RSO do a reverse split with a downward trajectory on earnings? That would be the last think this management would do. In fact it would amount to malfeasance. The Shorts would murder the stock after the Split.
The only time ACAS entertained the thought of doing a Reverse Split is when the stock was trading below $1 and there was a possibility of delisting if they didn't.
pipster you will agree with me on this. If BV continues to erode, the SP will adjust downward. Many diehard reit investors ignore the deteriorating financials of reits and use the excuse of how they averaged down to justify how wonderful their investments in reits are doing. I noticed this on numerous occasions over on the ARR Board. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your rationalizing the performance of RSO as such.
Really? She's not bouncing off $4.25 today, right? And the 10 year is selling off bigtime today. So why the continued drop?
Listen to the CC if you haven't already. Management stated that the effect of buybacks to offset Options exercised will be minimal because the there isn't enough time until the actual spin off takes place to have any material effect.
