"Indeed, the rapid descent of modern conservatism into a netherworld of conspiracy theories and hocus-pocus gimmickry is nearly complete. This is a political demographic that includes people who think the California drought is God’s punishment for abortion and that same-sex marriage created Hurricane Sandy, so it shouldn’t come as any surprise that too many conservatives completely accept the veracity of an explicitly falsified video. (Meanwhile, the 97 percent scientific consensus on the climate crisis is a hoax.) This willingness to believe in ridiculousness while rejecting objective reality is growing increasingly self-satirical.
Objective reality includes the following facts:
• Planned Parenthood is not selling fetus parts for profit or otherwise.
• Only three percent of Planned Parenthood’s activities involve abortions.
• Per the Hyde Amendment, no federal funds can be used for abortions. And there’s no evidence that Planned Parenthood has done so.
• Consequently, de-funding Planned Parenthood would put into jeopardy its ability to save lives and, germane to this issue, prevent abortions. The Washington Post editorial board concluded:"
Excuse me that should not read "died" as I was never alive until birth if unable to be born and become aIive I would be still born. I would not have "died".
No. I might have been a viable fetus but no one was going to go to jail if I died because of their neglect, abuse or inability to birth me. I had no legal rights, no standing in the community and according to some scripture no soul until my first breath.
You seem not to know the difference between an infant and a fetus for starters. Next you don't know what murder is. Third you assume that being pro choice is pro abortion. If you think any kind of legislation is ever going to stop abortion you are naive in the extreme. That has been tried before with catastrophic results.
""Trump is drawing support from voters — blue-collar, less-educated, more conservative — who are unlikely ever to support Mr. Bush but are essential to Mr. Walker's candidacy."
Fish you are confusing the Neocons with the Tea Party. The neocons are Cheney and that Ilk that wanted to spread American supremacy across the world by force. The Tea party is the creation of the Koch brothers who want to own the government for an elite class of wealthy donors by rolling back any laws that restrict their ability to make more money at the cost of others and the environment. The first group is for military supremacy while the latter just wants to reduce the the US to feudalism. Granted they will keep a large military to defend their investments and hold the disenfranchised in check but they just want government out of their way or under their control so they can do whatever they damn well please.
The GOP depends on the adrenalin rush of angry retorts in any media they chose whether it be this board or Fox news. They live for the fight. Truth, solutions, compromise are as alien to their platform as minorities are to their party.
You ran it up, now pay for it. It wasn't Obamas doing.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The flags at the U.S. Capitol have been lowered to half-staff to honor the five service members killed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, last week.
Now please explain how the president adds to the debt. What do you expect with a GOP house?
Oh come on. Reagan never had an economic idea in his life. He was nothing but a neocon puppet who gave good speeches for the guys that pulled his strings. He was our first beauty queen president, elected for the show he could put on rather than what he knew.
