If it is the truth give us names not "a mother". It is just a republican political ad.

Heres why. "North Carolina becomes the 26th state to refuse to implement a state insurance exchange and instead put that ACA provision responsibility back onto the Federal Government.

Following the Governor’s announcement, the NC General Assembly handed Obamacare another punch, echoing Gov. McCrory’s earlier comments regarding Medicaid expansion.

North Carolina lawmakers refused Tuesday to expand Medicaid for an estimated 500,000 poor residents for three years while the federal government fully pays their medical care bills, with opponents saying it was unlikely the state could drop the new additions once it begins shouldering 10 percent of the cost in 2017."

Silly, it is not here here . It is Hear, hear unless you are calling your dog or giving Hash runners directions. That is probably too complex for you linguistically.

No Fox won't address any comparisons for performance. They expect a new and perfect standard.

borders are more closed then ever in history. He has deported more than anyone since Ike. People work hard whether you do or not. Pay is terrible from Congress not passing minimum wage increases or equal pay for women and years of republican deregulation and outsourcing. No we are not the worlds religious police forces for your pleasure to export your own beliefs to other people in other countries or to minorities here. Obama has put together a coalition to fight terrorist radicals and is doing so with or without Congress taking a stand right or wrong. He is not detached. His policies against Russia have led to a historically weak ruble against the dollar a faltering Russian economy with lower oil prices and 8% inflation in that country. Holder has done his job and Lerner has every right as a citizen in this country to take the fifth and avoid the possibility of incriminating herself. That is the law here whether you like it or not. Benghazi and the IRS have been investigated over and over and the results have been that there was no wrong doing. You only wish you could stick something on a president who has brought prosperity back to the country because you don't like having a black democrat being successful. Shouting your lies over and over despite evidence to the contrary is nothing but #$%$ style propaganda of the big lie, tell it over and over and hope that the masses will believe it.

What a bunch of lies. You can check the records, he nor his wife were disbarred and eligible to reopen their practice whenever they choose. Class attendance as you state is another lie. Acorn was there before Obama was president. Yes he did make a fortune on his books. Such lies as you spread are nothing but racist slander.

You have just convinced anyone who knows anything about statistics that you do not. Being more than two standard deviations below the midpoint of the population yourself is probably the cause. Statistics verify that Obamas numbers on labor participation are nothing out of the norm. Note the range of the population being considered. The past 50 years, the range and what would be considered normal and what abnormal. The 67% mentioned by Hitch as a bench mark would not be normal. Neither would the lowest figure for the population. However the present figures are very near the mean indicating that they are well within the normal range. i.e they are not abnormally low and therefore should not be a subject of criticism from any quarters.

That is nt the case. Companies are reporting record profits. It is not that the economy is not good. Companies see no need to hire. If they raised the minimum wage, spent money improving infrastructure and paid their taxes there would be more employment and the economy would grow faster as a result. You college grads with degrees in political science and the humanities are not going to find jobs easy to come by and the for profit online universities are not really providing a useful education.

  • that means it is in the normal range on a statistical basis and nothing to be worried about. It is less than 1% off of the average. Anyone trying to make a big argument about that is a statistical dunce. considering the aging population and it is amazingly high. Old folks are working longer after the Bush recession destroyed their retirements.

Of course he never said what to be concerned about about them or what he was going to do to curb the great Russian bear. What was more important is the 47% he said not to be concerned about.

Reagan had a young population entering working age. Obama has an aging population reaching retirement. It took Reagan longer to get below 6% unemployed. Obama still has two years to go.

American companies are hiring again at a healthy pace, adding 248,000 jobs in September, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday.

The unemployment rate fell to 5.9 percent, the first time it had been below 6 percent since July 2008 and a continued decline from its recession peak of 10 percent.

The strong report — the last one before the midterm elections — was likely to buoy the outlook of economists who had worried the post-recession recovery was being sidetracked. Those fears were prompted by the government‘s earlier report on Sept. 5 that fewer jobs were added in August than in any month so far this year.

The pace of job creation in September, which was above many economists’ expectations, signified a return to the 200,000 level, a mark that had been surpassed each month since midwinter until the August lull.

But even the August numbers weren’t as bad as originally thought. The government made revisions that showed 180,000 jobs were added in August. Originally it said just 142,000 workers were added to payrolls.

President Barack Obama touted the successes of the Affordable Care Act and improvements in the economy overall, during in a major speech on the economy Thursday at Northwestern University in Illinois.

"If we hadn’t taken this on, and premiums had kept growing at the rate they did in the last decade, the average premium for family coverage today would be $1,800 higher than they are," Obama said in his speech, referring to the law with pride as "Obamacare."

"That’s $1,800 you don’t have to pay out of our pocket or see vanish from your paycheck. That’s like a $1,800 tax cut. And because the insurance marketplaces we created encourage insurers to compete for your business, in many of the cities that have announced next year’s premiums, something important is happening — premiums are actually falling. One expert said it’s like 'defying the law of physics.' But we’re getting it done."

Obama's comments come one year after the disastrous rollout of the law's online insurance exchanges, which helped contribute to the overall negative perception Americans have of the law. A year later and with the website repaired, he had plenty to tout — the slow premium increases, slowing growth in healthcare costs , and millions of more people insured.

He said "about 10 million people" — 26% of the uninsured — had gained insurance in the first year of the law. He also touted the Congressional Budget Office's projection that in 2020, Medicare and Medicaid would cost the federal government $188 billion less than projected four years ago.
