It isn't the Democrats that are trying to end Social security. If the GOP could pull off privatization they could renege on the whole debt.
Go take an accounting class. All anyone did, and it was Reagan, was move it off budget and then back. The social security money has always been used to buy treasury bonds and nothing else. The problem is since Reagan ran up the debt we haven't paid squat in interest on these T bills so they are not making any return on our social security money. No one stole any money they just spent more than the government funded and kept taxes low on the rich by borrowing your retirement fund. Now they have to keep rates low to keep the debt from growing faster.
Probably in prep for invading Texas.
Couldn't even run HP. Never won an election. She and Ted Cruz would be a great couple. They are only in the race to fleece suckers like you. Send in your donations.
All over the MSM. Actually it just says what the constitution says. the Senate can advise and consent. Final bill was a left victory over Cotton who wanted to set conditions in it. Maybe if you paid attention to the MSM you would know that.
Is that suppose to be" threw"? Yeah, cut the corporate welfare if you want to save money and raise the tax rate, tax capital gains and reinstate the death tax. Reduce pensions for Congress, have them subject to SSA, have term limits and limit campaign financing so they have enough time to do the work they were sent to Washington to do. That all has about as much chance as the GOP budget.
You can't seem to understand that the police are suppose to protect people. Therefore when they kill someone it comes in to question how they are doing their job. Punks are expected to do bad things. They think more like you.
We are not the boss of the world or Iran. Perhaps you haven't noticed. When we try to be we get our butts kicked, spend lots of money and accomplish nothing. Kind of like you.
Would you like to be on the receiving end of the coalitions efforts? I'll pay for your ticket to go see what it is like.
Hewlett-Packard Co. Chairman and CEO Carly Fiorina, one of the most powerful women in corporate America, is leaving the troubled computer maker after being forced out by the company's board.
Shares of HP (Research) jumped 6.9 percent in heavy trading on the New York Stock Exchange Wednesday on the news. But at one point, the stock was up as much as 10.5 percent.
"The stock is up a bit on the fact that nobody liked Carly's leadership all that much," said Robert Cihra, an analyst with Fulcrum Global Partners. "The Street had lost all faith in her and the market's hope is that anyone will be better."
Fiorina, the only female CEO at a company in the Dow Jones industrial average, had been with HP since 1999. But the company's controversial deal to buy Compaq in the spring of 2002 -- after a bruising proxy fight led by one of the Hewlett family heirs -- has not produced the shareholder returns or profits she had promised.
I think in this case they just have to prove disregard not intent.
Perhaps, When was he told he was under arrest? When he was reaching through the window, when he was walking away, or after he had been shot? We don't know do we. We really have no idea what happened. Too many conflicting stories. Was he a punk? Seems so.
