I did sell 30,000 of my Claude shares today and yesterday for around $0.43 each so I have some cash. I am just a bit anti miner right now. I have 10,000 shares of TC and 70,000 shares of Claude.
If we hit the $1.20s again it might tempt me to at least buy back the 7k shares of TC I sold at earnings spike ($1.60).
That makes a lot of sense. Time to start trading it when we find the bottom of the range...just keep some shares in the back pocket for the black swan event.
I have been coming across as a Yahooass hole but it is only because I like many of you had such high hopes for this company.
Yes, they got hit by poor metal prices, but the other missteps are just so bad that it ticks me off when they reward themselves at our expense.
They need to work with the hand they have been dealt (lower prices on copper, gold, and molybdenum). I was screaming during the summer for some sort of sell or deal or partnership on the moly assets when moly was $14 a pound but that ship has now sailed as moly is now viewed as a waste product when processing good fill dirt.
I'll try to tone things down as a lot of you still have high hopes for the company and hope is a good thing. I wish you the best and I probably will just hang onto my 10k shares and hope along with you.
Remaining shares are up for trading. We have left the $5 area and now have to figure out what range we trade. My guess is $6.30 to $7.50 until more news.
I would have preferred Radio Shack's management. At least there they stab you in the front where you can see it coming.
Endocyte would be worth around 3 billion.
$60 a share sounds about right (factoring in some dilution on the way up)
stage 4: hope
Pretty soon you will be at stage 5: grasping at straws
I am in stage 7: bitter resentment
Claude up near 20% today.
Let me check my TC stock...oh, down 3%.
Would not be surprised now to see this thing trade at $0.60 in a few weeks.
Everything this guy just said is true yet he gets 4 thumbs down.
Delusional shareholder syndrome. They should make a pill for that.
In the south there is a different saying. "I won't come in your mouth" TC management has been using this one on TC shareholders for a few years now.
I traded it a little bit today. Sold 2000 at 6.25 then bought back a couple minutes later for $6. Almost sold them again at $6.17 but then it dropped to the $6.05 close. Crazy stock but good movement today. I mostly just made some little money for a few hamburgers.
A little bit, but it does go to show how to compare a company where the insiders are granted tens of thousands of shares and sell them cheap (TC) vs Claude where insiders have been buying hand over fist (not just being handed shares for performing so so)
10,000 shares of TC, down $0.02 from where I sold 7,000
100,000 shares of Claude, up $0.08 from my last purchase.
It did say 2 ounces.
If you think about it though, this is brilliant by Apple. Consider how the Asians love their gold. They also love I-products.
Put the two together and you have a big seller. I should buy back my Apple stock.
Draft is like 2.5 feet with the centerboard up...but I will use charts of course. We have pretty good GPS chart plotter but I generally also go with paper.
Right now we just have a wee little sailboat, a Montgomery 17 footer. It is easy to trailer behind our RV although it has a fixed 600 pound lead keel and a small cabin for sleeping. It should be loads of fun in the Keys. I am not sure that we will take it to Alaska...may find some cheap storage...although sailing it around Anchorage would be fun.
Selling house, packing up RV, sailboat and motorcycles and hitting the road. We are probably going to go down to the Florida Keys for awhile, do some sailing/fishing then come back across the USA and head up to Alaska for a year or two. I hope to do some prospecting up there (but just for fun..my wife makes fun of the few gold specks I have found here in WA state).
It might take a few months to sell the house but then we are on the road. Don't worry, I will probably get a data plan with enough GB that I can whine about my remaining TC investment.
Skippy, I will have to hide those gold bars somewhere in our RV.
