There has been a lot of capitulating since we learned that the CEO appointed his wife to be CFO. Maybe she is good at her job. I have no idea. It certainly doesn't seem to sit well with investors, though.
Gartman is bullish on gold. That should confirm a short term top.
I don't know about the rest of the Pacific, but I know on Guam that there was an unwritten understanding that the US troops would take no prisoners. One holdout Japanese soldier there was finally captured in the 1970s. I lived there while he was still hiding out. Lots of my classmates looked strangely Japanese. My neighbor had a "party house" during the war and used to provide her daughters to the Japanese soldiers for entertainment. Another neighbor was a colonel in the Guam resistance. He used invite us to his fiestas and he was a good friend and neighbor. Most people around our village were. My neighbors were very nice, but schools were very tough. In 7th grade, some of my classmates were 19 years old, The year before I went to school there, there was a kid who was 21 in the 7th grade. His parents wouldn't let him drop out until he turned 21. My sister had a 19 year old in her 5th grade class. Although my younger brother had no 19 year olds in his 4th grade class, he had two 16 year old girls in his class and one of them was pregnant. Without TV, people had to entertain themselves somehow. That's why so many families had 18-20 kids, all on welfare.
I am not excusing anything that the Japanese soldiers did. They committed many war crimes. I am just saying that there were several reasons that they refused to surrender, not just because they were fanatical followers of Emperor Hirohito.
Labor negotiations? Must mean PPC is doing well and labor wants their share. This stock has been a moneymaker for me, that's for sure. Not a krappy stock at all. Offer them half of what they're asking for. We can afford it.

I'm pleased with this surprise. The last special dividend covered my purchase price. It's all gravy from here for me.
Thank you Pilgrim's Pride management, workers and other stakeholders. I will put this money to good use.
I am smelling their dirty paws on this. Am I wrong, anyone?
I wish I would have to worry about that, but I don't own enough in my Roth IRA to have to fill out the 990T. Funny how success can be so painful to some.
