Sfred, the shares were gifted (payed) quarterly. My guess is they will also "vest" quarterly. I agree with vgirl on this one. Pat views these shares as payroll...nothing more. He will dump them at "market" and leave the rest of us with damaged share value. This is not rocket science...it's his track record.
Not really....as you can see by this notation from form 4, this is stock based compensation and sadly dilutive.
"On September 16, 2015, the reporting person was granted restricted stock shares and options that will vest monthly for three years beginning July 29, 2015."
Gevo has left shareholders exposed to the short sellers pounding. This exposure is complete and thorough leading one to believe the company was in on the orchestration.
PEIX is probably the best medium term trade in the energy sector right now. A real steal..!!
Share price at UNXL dropped 50%...ouch.
ZAGG diluted under cover AH heading into holiday....dirty!!
A couple of stocks I watch from the sidelines diluted this week.
UNXL and ZAGG....pretty common for companies that don't make profits the old fashioned way.
Gevo is a money tree for short traders. They can cash out and roll their position with confidence. They will simply pile into the next little pop and sell it lower than ever. When a company puts off the stench of death, Buzzards come from miles around to pick the bones clean.
Gevo left to their own devices would starve to death and die. This death will affect everyone with an interest in Gevo. I think there will be an intervention (not divine) that death actually happens. Gevo is undervalued....very very cheap scoop for big energy.
It won't be $20 per share....but maybe enough for me to break even. Strong Buy recommendation is based on the undervalued assets and short pop for traders.
Gevo will not be able to survive if the only plan is to produce ISO at Luverne.
I don't think GEVO wants to sell....that won't prevent them from being swallowed-up by a bigger fish though.
Gevo is way undervalued...Big Energy will add sweet little gevo to their harem....tender little gevo....
It's not uncommon in these techno-niche upstart companies for the scientist/ visionary to leave the company once the production/ distribution stage nears. I would not be surprised if Pat leaves to pursue other interests. I'm not sure that will help share price though. Pretty much only one thing will-----CASH
"Maybe roll iso out using muti-level marketing or door to door salesmen.".....Great Vgirl, that's all we need....dooooooshbag Axman running around calling Gevo a pyramid scheme....
