I'm asking the Papabros to stand up like men and make public the financial records of their family restaurant chain inc. their salarys there. I want to know how little time they really spend at Luby's. What's there to hide????My opinion only

  • When one sees how well run the Pappas Family Barbeque and Pappadeaux units are run, its hard to believe the Pappas bros. have ANYTHING to do with the management of Luby's, Inc. The seats and booths at the former units are profoundly comfortable with perfect padding, rake and tilt, while the latter units have seats that are rock hard and upright. Even the new booths at Luby's are very upright and uncomfortable. Was at a new big Fudds in New Mexico on a Sat. nite at 8:20 p. m. and there were 10 customers there. They had a sofa and lounge chair for folks to wait for their order, and rock hard upright all wood chairs to use for eating. The booths were all wood with no rake or tilt. Many tables needed bussing. The Pappas refuse to serve the bacon corn casserole at Luby"s except on a blue moon which is beyond belief. Does anyone believe the management at Luby's is intentionally trying to sabotage it's own restaurants for the benefit of the PapabrosFamily restaurants, or do they just have contempt and disdain for it's public shareholders? The Papabros seem to treat Luby's like a red headed step child, yet don't they have a fiduciary legal obligation to use all their efforts and wisdom to improve Luby's and Fudds? The whole situation makes no sense to me, and I am asking the message board to help me figure this mess out. The Papabros know damn well how crucial seating is to the success of a dining est. don't they? Of course they do! Disclaimer: my opinion only, no legal opinion implied.

    Sentiment: Hold
