golf - I looked into the whey and Greek Yogurt and it is not an issue. Actually Greek yogurt generates more whey then regular yogurt does. The issue is that the whey from yogurt is a more acidic whey where as the whey from cheese is more sweet. IE the ph is different depending on the primary product that produces whey in the processing.

So OME does not compete with many of the commercial non-organic yogurt producers. I believe for the most part OME gets the whey from cheese producers. There should not be a conflict.

Going on vacation for a few days but interested in the whey vs yogurt ideas. Will have to research some, but either contracts or private herds probably have this concern covered

where - love the pun about it being fishy! Always good to throw in a little humor.

I do not find it strange at all the timing of things. It is planned to focus information on one time period an many companies do it. One driller for years saved updates and even rests of drillings for the conference call itself. This was to gain focus and to get folks attention and give it all at once. As I say many companies do this.

And as to a analyst, If I had a few hundred thousand shares or was responsible for my investment company to follow a stock the company held a few hundred thousand shares I would stay on top of it as well. Give the analyst had two days which is forever in this business, to see what the PR said before the CC it is no surprise at all that they appeared to be knowledgeable to them and it was old hat. No problem here at all.

As to your aspersion that something in the practices of the company is off, I think if one thinks about it for a few minutes they see that it is just a couple of people one each side of the fence doing a great job.

Again e fishy post, but don't let SOP for Wall Street Company get you concerned. All is well.

    Hi golf,

Worked with cows and chickens when younger in both Washington State and Arkansas. Probably about your age give or take a year or three.

Industrial faming in a cafo/afo might not have a kidding or calving season but isn't it a bit different for a natural product that is hormone free. For an industrial breeder to keep the season flowing so to speak don't they have a breeding program that is both AI and packed with hormones so an artificial heat is produced in the female? Those hormones are traceable in the milk and other products and the product is no longer hormone free. Correct me if I am wrong, but this is how I have understood it.

golf, if memory serves me right and I am not certain of this, but isn't spring kid season? If the herd all or mostly drop their young in say May, there is a time when the milk is not flowing. I know not all goats or cows come fresh at the same time but in general they may have been off line while they were pregnant and will start producing milk soon after the drop young. Since many of the herd were offline the numbers were low. It is part of the seasonable cycle. At least I believe it is.

I am really surprised the dip was that steep. I bought a few shares on the way down. May be a while but it will be back. Good company, good management is a winner and they got it.

golf - in you post you said "says prices are up cause that there warmwaterphenom down in Peru". I was wondering what you knew.

And about the price drop last week. It is August and tradition says that it will all the others should have a dip this time of year. However, with the building of the company in whey and other health related areas the dip might not be deep nor last long.

Looking towards the report and interested.

FYI I know some things fish but more about business and it looks like the management is looking into building out the business better with the last appointment to the board. The one move could be very significant.

golf - there are people interested and reading about the stock. Most info on the board is none or old. Price drop is normal when looking t the annual trend lines. what does the warm water in Peru really do? Does it drive the fish lower or farther out to sea?

And about the hospital, I am about that age as well. Been there a few times and prefer to stay closer to home, I guess I need to eat better and take fish oil, right?

Plus there needs to be a little calming down with the pps. Earnings may well take an adjustment with the two acquisitions but if the first has started to add to e bottom line in both revenue which should be a given, and in earnings we might see that negative concerning the acquisition offset.

Also if the indications are that the company acquired first has more than 10M revenue as a reality and not just a thought, then it could be nice as well. I do not expect that to shine through but it will be buried in the details of the quarterly if it happens.

All in all the trend is looking better all the time. No wild projections from me here only that summer could cause a drop that could be attractive for some to get on board, or to add. But I do not expect much of a dip if there are a couple of other acquisitions in the wings.

    Sentiment: Buy

  • There is more going on here then meets the eye and the way it is trending it looks bigger each week. as many of you know I have held for a long time and have made good money on this stock. But from what it looks like now, we are in no way done. FYI I have sold my trade shares but still hold the same investment position I have with no intention of selling at this point. We are by no means done here.
