Still tootin along. And yes I am here now and will be going forward. This is a good company, need to hear the CC but even the numbers sound okay to me as is. Long term the strategy is the thing and the new division of the company is the bridge that will help long term.

Listen to the conference call. I mean really! And listen to it all. If you don't you will make the wrong decision as many have.

I think many got in earlier and the churn has give others an opportunity to buy in again at a good price. We might not be done on the down side due to so little information on the catch this season, but the pps is in a good range to add if the recent acquisition is worth anything, which it is. The stock is worth we over the current price once digesting is done. We are probably in that area of concern. I thought the cycle was news, happy, wonderment, worry, concern, rationalism, resolve, and realization. Once Mr. Market is done digesting we will mover into some rationalism enforced by the next conference call and it should get better.

But for right now, it is an opportunity for those who are thinking about establishing a position, at least getting the toe in the door.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

I guess I need to dig a little deeper into the Q to see if there is any hidden reasoning behind the loss in profits. At first blush there are one time costs in the assimilation of one company into another that come out of the general cash flow and could discount the profits. I think there might be something there. Besides, did the acquisition of the whey company include all the assets of the company or only part. If so the assimilation costs and t assets left behind may offset the profits for a q or two.

Also and you might have to correct me since a Washington boy does not know it all, if the purchase price of the whey company include any stock either restricted or unrestricted those costs are written off as they are realized. So if any pat of the purchase or transitional costs were realized in the quarter that would also decrease profit since that comes right off the bottom line.

I need to look EBITA as well as the revenues per division and see what pops. I assume you have done that, since you are wondering.

That all said, the near term looks good. And if the management is still looking for opportunities to grow by buying other companies after these are stabilized, things could really be looking up.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Golf, take a look at the presentation slides in the PDF posted on the company website. The appendix at the end shows the income in a brief presentation. When I do simple calculations it will raise the diluted EPS by about 15 cents per share if there is no synergy. However, once consolidation costs are overcome and the new division starts to add to the bottom line the stock should be worth over $25 per share using simple multiples.

But more simply said, with EPS where it is and using a multiple of 12 times earnings the stock is worth over $20 today. Once the 10Qs start to show the real numbers and the diversification is understood we may be in for a nice ride.

Saw price on the rise for a week and good movement. Profit taker moved on Friday. Still holding over 15 is a good sign.

My hope is that there is another new deal in the works. With the newest board member being a specialist in the nutritional field we might expect some additions to the Whey product line, or another parallel business being added.

This is due to the three new adds to the company and what it does to the bottom line.

I had not seen the change, but knew it was coming. But to be host it could be a bit higher after a few initial costs of merging parts of the companies together. The economy will be stable enough to build what is there, and you are correct this is going be much more of a beautiful thing.

Been reading about this and it gets more interesting as you get into it. Acid whey is an issue, but the market is looking for uses. Sweet way sounds good and Omega must feel they are secure about their sources since they mentioned other products other then protein power in the conference call.

The more I read about the chemistry of the sour or acid whey the more interesting the possibilities become. I seem to remember back a few years that an alternative energy was being developed using algae that give off certain gas that can be converted some how to electrical power. I will have to readdress that but I thought that the environment the algae lived in was acidic. Could be I have the environment wrong and a certain acid is created as a byproduct but there was something there.

All that said, price action is great as of late.
