Ams has 3 proton machines under contract from Mevion. Does anyone have a sense on the potential ebitda from these units per year? Am trying to project out future cash flow and get a better sense on what the company could be worth. I think the first beam to Orlando will be very successful and am hopeful they get the next two partnered this year. Beyond that if they could purchase and then partner out a couple more beams in the next 24 months what are the shares potentially worth?
They also need to bring capital in with a method that is shareholder friendly, maybe by delaying pricing on any of it to a later date when the equity has recovered from these self inflicted wounds like loading up debt on the company to pay themselves for etg, imo of course.
Azure delayed the conference call. They need a waiver which they will more than likely get but they also need to bring some capital in to pay down the revolver. Not all that much actually and with backers like energy spectrum and tenaska they should get it, but i just have to say i hope this management and board get sued for the way they have handled this since the former cfo left. To bring out an announcement cutting the dividend but saying they just had one of their best quarters ever and then working on a plan to be a one time fix and then not getting that done on time, just smacks of poor stewardship. That said i plan to acquire shares if it gets hit on this as the underlying economics are not bad, witness they were in compliance at year end. The ratio steps from 6x ebitda to 5x at the end of q1 which may cause a small miss. Pay some debt down gp and be done with it so the shares and the company can recover. My opinion only.
What is kind of amazing here is that for many weeks there was doubt they would make any sale at all given market conditions. The $80 million is disappointing but its still $80 million they did not have before. If they can also shed some expense related to Marcellus and monetize some of their gas hedges that would be additive. Finally, their plan for some time has been to focus on stack and that has not changed at all. Seems like short-term fear is at work here more than long-term rationality.
