Looks like somebody just entered a large sell order at the market and bids were scarce today. Stupid if you as me. Likely a mutual fund......it's only someone else's money...lol
gunner.... He doesn't know the difference between needs and rights, nor clips and magazine .... To him, a want is an entitlement and a right is a privilege granted us by the administration in power at the time....a clip is something he gets at the hair salon every week, and when he has magazine in his hands (at the salon) it clearly has "The New Yorker" on it.....you're laughing? I'll bet money on it...and I don't gamble....
When the framers composed the 2nd amendment, their intent was not to say "you have the right to shoot a duck or deer.".... They didn't even intend it to mean, " you have the right to defend yourself against some thug intending to steal your horse, or assault you or your family".. Their intent was, " you have the right to protect yourself from an overbearing government's tryanny". That is what the revolution was all about. No-one was dissatisfied with hunting rules or lack of police protection. It was all about the right to personal freedoms. Back in the time our framers wrote the 2nd amendment, federal armies used single shot muzzle loading rifles and pistols. Common citizens had the right to own the very same guns. I would argue that the framers intended citizens to have the same weapons available to the army as a way to keep the balance of power in check. Over the years the disparity in weaponry between the federal army and common citizens has gotten farther and farther apart to the point where today our army has armed jet aircraft, guided missiles and armed drones, while the population is fighting its last breath for the right to keep semi automatic rifles. This happened slowly over time with political propaganda a fear mongering in a continued attempt by the empowered FEW to control the helpless many. I'm betting if Washington, Adams, and Jefferson were alive today, they would think that the fact that a citizen of the USA is not permitted to own an armed F14 Tomcat, that would constitute an infringement on the 2nd amendment. We have lost much of the true intent of the 2nd amendment over the 200 years since it was enacted. I suggest we draw a line in the sand here before it's completely gone.
The cops usually show up in time time to tape off the crime scene , take the photos, and trace the chalk body imprint on the floor or street. .... And even if you live in a metro area the response time is often more than 15 minutes. The encounter usually takes less than 2 minutes in a home invasion. Less in a street situation. Your living in fantasyland.
Yes I'm religious... The same religion and moral codes our framers so bravely fought for. But before you make any more half witted assertions you might question the kap'n on his views on late term abortions. I suspect hearing his answer you won't be so quick to jump to his defense. That is because the antigun liberals are all for protecting children who might be killed accidentally by guns or at the hands of the mentally defected individuals while applauding millions of children who are deliberately killed legally each year as a woman's right of choice....strange isn't it: righteous about blaming the gun for a few thousand deaths each year while at the same time protecting the virtues of those responsible for several million deaths. Hypocritical? What God do you pray to? What would He/She say about it?
KMI is the general partner a receives approx 50% of revenues from KMP and KMR, which are MLPs (master limited partnerships)....KMI is a C corp and DOES NOT issue a K1 on its cash dividend of approx 5%......KMP elects partnership status and issues a K1 on its cash dividend of approx 7%.... KMR elects C corp status but pays no cash dividends. It issues additional stock each quarter equal to KMPs cash dividend. So KMR has no K1 nor annual tax liability for the shares you get issued. IMHO. ...KMI BETTER FOR GROWTH IF THINGS GO WELL....KMP BETTER FOR BIG CASH DIVIDEND.....KMR BETTER FOR NO NEED FOR INCOME AND DESIRE FOR NO TAXABLE DIVIDENDS. tax laws are such that MOST TAX CONSULTANTS WARN AGAINST OWNING KMP IN AN IRA TYPE ACCOUNT. KMI and KMR are fine to own in a qualified plan. (IRA, 401k Roller, Simple, SEPP, etc...). KMI's divs are estimated to grow at 8%.....KMP's divs are estimated to grow at 5%... Richard Kinder, the CEO, OWNS ABOUT 25% of KMI's outstanding stock if that means anything to you. I own KMI myself... Hope this helps...
Let me begin by saying I'm no Cramer fan, however RK was given an opportunity to lay out his optimistic growth forecast about the Kinder Co's without spending a dime of shareholder money. I didn't pick up any new info but it reaffirmed my belief KMI and related MLP's are a bargain at these prices. There is a replay later tonight.
You didn't like my imagery borrowed from a scene in "The Godfather"? Our framers hung traitors. I let him off easy. Grow up..
A triple bottom IS what happened yesterday. We are likely going higher from here. Good luck with that $2 forecast. How did you dream that up? You must think our paper money is going to increase substantially in vale long term. Are you dating Yellen? Or running a pot shop in Colorado and puffing up all your profits.
I have friends that lived in the UK. You can't even keep a double barrel shotgun for hunting quail at your home. It must be kept at an armory, where you check it in and out, with signed permission and pay fees to do that. The process involved to buy a hunting gun is lengthy and costly. Most of the cops don't have guns either. Only the criminals have guns over there. I believe your pepper spray is illegal as well. Long live the King....it's this tyranny that the revolution was fought for and you and your socialist friends want to throw it away. Move to Britain why don't you.. The only gun you'll see over there will be pointed at you in the hand of a criminal while the only thing in your hand will be your d*ck...
We may have put in a triple bottom.
My 2cents is that it is just a little give back from recent gains. Might of been helped along by report Hedgeye is bearish on accounting of another MLP or two.. Didn't mean much to me. Sit back and collect your 5%... A year from now you'll look brighter than Warren Buffett IMHO. This is a time to be in energy and be collecting a dividend. Only the Opinion of one guy who believes enough in the stock to have a ton of it. I've been in the market for 50 years, which could mean I either have wisdom or Alzheimer's ....ha .
Dividends don't come from earnings. They come from actual free cash flow. Something KMI has an abundance of collecting their share of cash being generated by the limited partnerships they manage. If their non cash flow expenses can reduce earnings that's great because then they pay lower taxes. Short this stock at will, listen to the hedge fund guys. You can trust them. Get caught up in the short squeeze that will beset you. Don't forget in the mean time you'll be paying the 5% dividend to the long you short the stock to as well... I'll thank you in advance for him.
Just google "Goldmsn Sachs On KMI... It will lead you to an article dated 2/25/14..... Despite the recommendation from the thieves at Golden Slacks, I like this stock very much and am up to my ears in it at $31.96...I would argue the blind squirrel rule here....the energy complex, especially nat gas looks great IMHO and the biggest owner of the "toll roads" for it in the US looks like a good way to play it. The fact the RICHARD KINDER has bought a boat load of it at these prices doesn't hurt my optimism a bit. Better than allot of companies out there where the insiders are unloading stock like crazy. I sold out positions in two stocks in Jan where the that was thè case. If makes me nervous when the guys in the board room don't want their money in the company.
1. Calling 911 works better for reporting a crime than stopping one. 2. Police will usually be there usually within minutes of the crime being reported. 3. Many crimes are caught on videotape, providing a useful tool for prosecuting attorneys. 4 . The odds of getting assaulted today are greater than 200 years ago when our framers established the 2nd Amendment. Pepper spray might be effective against an open hand, it is a poor weapon against someone with a club, knife or gun. 5......and most important.... The 2nd Amendment is our only defense against the tyranny of a power grabbing federal government. Law abiding gun owning citizens are protecting the anti-gun population as well because criminals don't know who might have a gun and who would never own one. To those anti-gun zealots who don't believe that, I suggest you put a sign on your front porch with a picture of a gun with a circled line through it. As effective would be a sign stating., "Stop the NRA"....don't forget your bumper stickers as well. We gun owners also protect the liberties of the anti-gun crowd. We should be thanked, not scorned. But I guess there are folks out there who would approve of a lifetime term for Obama.
CNBC apparently thinks political ideology has a lot to do with SWHC and RGR as do I .....
