rob, the head of the fed doesn't share you knee pad report:

    U.S. Wages Stagnant Under Obama

by Dan Riehl 9 Jan 2015

After six years of Obamanomics, Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is still citing “stagnant wage growth as a sign of continued problems in the labor market,” and the immediate future isn’t looking much better.

“Average hourly earnings dipped in December, after a nice boost the month before, according to the government jobs report released Friday. Over the year, the gauge rose only 1.7% — just barely over the inflation rate,” according to a report.

As Lynn Reaser, chief economist at Point Loma Nazarene University, pointed out, the decline did not come from increased hiring in low-wage sectors.”

Employers across the board — from manufacturing to financial services — paid lower wages last month.

Also, unfortunately, economists aren’t predicting any significant wage boost soon.

flop, if GW is the truth, how come so many formerly respected agencies like NOAA, NASA and East Angila had to lie about it? If you have the truth, you have the truth and would never have to lie. The truth stands alone on its own merits.

Doc, trying arguing with rob is worse than trying to argue with the idiot. rob, like most of the loons on this board worships the messiah and doesn't even believe The Liar in Chief is a liar. He also said he doesn't trust anything but the figures the government puts out. Like the government will never lie to us. WOW!!!!

Gallup CEO Jim Clifton told CNBC he might “suddenly disappear” for telling the truth about the Obama unemployment rate.

The real Obama unemployment rate has never recovered and is still above 10%.

    Wall Street on Parade reported:

Years of unending news stories on U.S. government programs of surveillance, rendition and torture have apparently chilled the speech of even top business executives in the United States.

Yesterday, Jim Clifton, the Chairman and CEO of Gallup, an iconic U.S. company dating back to 1935, told CNBC that he was worried he might “suddenly disappear” and not make it home that evening if he disputed the accuracy of what the U.S. government is reporting as unemployed Americans.

The CNBC interview came one day after Clifton had penned a gutsy opinion piece on Gallup’s web site, defiantly calling the government’s 5.6 percent unemployment figure “The Big Lie” in the article’s headline. His appearance on CNBC was apparently to walk back the “lie” part of the title and reframe the jobs data as just hopelessly deceptive.

Clifton stated the following on CNBC:

“I think that the number that comes out of BLS [Bureau of Labor Statistics] and the Department of Labor is very, very accurate. I need to make that very, very clear so that I don’t suddenly disappear. I need to make it home tonight.”

After getting that out of the way, Clifton went on to eviscerate the legitimacy of the cheerful spin given to the unemployment data, telling CNBC viewers that the percent of full time jobs in this country as a percent of the adult population “is the worst it’s been in 30 years.”

flop, how come people who challenge GW are crack pots yet you use to quote NOAA and NASA which have been proven to have doctored the data to promote GW? Why don't you attack NOAA and NASA with the same fervor that you attack people like me who honestly believe that GW is hooey?

Tell me how come you don't attack PT Barnum for being a huckster? How come you never address PT's claim that the Arctic would lose all of its ice in 2103? Ever time I see an arial photograph of the Arctic ice is still there and not only is it still there it has grown not melted. Remember when the polar bears were all going to die off because there would be no more Arctic ice? According to Polar Bear Science: "What is apparent is that the global population of polar bears has not declined over the last 30 years, as the PBSG status tables indicate."

How come when your sources lie to you and the world you don't get angry about about the lies? Why cling to the lie?

Loons, keep in mind when attacking this article that NOAA and NASA have been cooking the books for years and of course the previous world authority on GW was discredited for cooking the books in favor of the GW hoax.

But facts mean nothing to you so go ahead and proclaim your ignorance and bias. Cling to the lie. It's what you loons do best.

The fiddling with temperature data is the biggest science scandal ever

New data shows that the “vanishing” of polar ice is not the result of runaway global warming

    The Telegraph
By Christopher Booker 10:15PM GMT 07 Feb 2015

When future generations look back on the global-warming scare of the past 30 years, nothing will shock them more than the extent to which the official temperature records – on which the entire panic ultimately rested – were systematically “adjusted” to show the Earth as having warmed much more than the actual data justified.

Two weeks ago, under the headline “How we are being tricked by flawed data on global warming”, I wrote about Paul Homewood, who, on his Notalotofpeopleknowthat blog, had checked the published temperature graphs for three weather stations in Paraguay against the temperatures that had originally been recorded. In each instance, the actual trend of 60 years of data had been dramatically reversed, so that a cooling trend was changed to one that showed a marked warming.

This was only the latest of many examples of a practice long recognised by expert observers around the world – one that raises an ever larger question mark over the entire official surface-temperature record.

Following my last article, Homewood checked a swathe of other South American weather stations around the original three. In each case he found the same suspicious one-way “adjustments”. First these were made by the US government’s Global Historical Climate Network (GHCN). They were then amplified by two of the main official surface records, the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (Giss) and the National Climate Data Center (NCDC), which use the warming trends to estimate temperatures across the vast regions of the Earth where no measurements are taken. Yet these are the very records on which scientists and politicians rely for their belief in “global warming”.

Homewood has now turned his attention to the weather stations across much of the Arctic, between Canada (51 degrees W) and the heart of Siberia (87 degrees E). Again, in nearly every case, the same one-way adjustments have been made, to show warming up to 1 degree C or more higher than was indicated by the data that was actually recorded. This has surprised no one more than Traust Jonsson, who was long in charge of climate research for the Iceland met office (and with whom Homewood has been in touch). Jonsson was amazed to see how the new version completely “disappears” Iceland’s “sea ice years” around 1970, when a period of extreme cooling almost devastated his country’s economy.

One of the first examples of these “adjustments” was exposed in 2007 by the statistician Steve McIntyre, when he discovered a paper published in 1987 by James Hansen, the scientist (later turned fanatical climate activist) who for many years ran Giss. Hansen’s original graph showed temperatures in the Arctic as having been much higher around 1940 than at any time since. But as Homewood reveals in his blog post, “Temperature adjustments transform Arctic history”, Giss has turned this upside down. Arctic temperatures from that time have been lowered so much that that they are now dwarfed by those of the past 20 years.

Homewood’s interest in the Arctic is partly because the “vanishing” of its polar ice (and the polar bears) has become such a poster-child for those trying to persuade us that we are threatened by runaway warming. But he chose that particular stretch of the Arctic because it is where ice is affected by warmer water brought in by cyclical shifts in a major Atlantic current – this last peaked at just the time 75 years ago when Arctic ice retreated even further than it has done recently. The ice-melt is not caused by rising global temperatures at all.

Of much more serious significance, however, is the way this wholesale manipulation of the official temperature record – for reasons GHCN and Giss have never plausibly explained – has become the real elephant in the room of the greatest and most costly scare the world has known. This really does begin to look like one of the greatest scientific scandals of all time.

ob, the only religion slaughtering people TODAY, not hundreds of years ago, is Islam. If you kept up with the news, you would know that.

This is strange coming from you. You can't bring yourself to admit The Liar in Chief is a liar but you sure can accuse the Republicans of lying. Hypocrite!

Look up my post by the CEO of Gallup where he calls the Obama Admin liars for lying about and inflating the employment figures and then tell me who is lying.

Yeah rob, you'd never do that, would you?

  • lonesome_polecatt lonesome_polecatt Feb 7, 2015 9:36 AM Flag

I don't know why you do this, flop, change the subject. This post is to dispel the myth that Islam is the religion of peace. Also pointing out bad behavior by others does not excuse the brutal behavior of the Muslims. I lost that argument with my mother when I was about four years old and that is two wrongs don't make a right. You did not address the post.

Also you will never hear me defend the Christianity of the middle ages. What change Christianity was the Reformation. It soften Christianity and paved the way for what it is today. Give me a modern example of where Christians are slaughtering thousands of people and burning people alive, burying children alive and torturing children. Just one example will do. If you can't give me an example at least condemn Islamic terrorism for what it is.

If Islam were the religion of peace as the insane claim it is, they would have spread their religion through peaceful example not at the point of a sword. Buddhism was spread by peaceful example not brutality. Of all the major religions Buddhism is the closest to a religion of peace.

  • Islamic conquest of India bloodiest in the history

Submitted by Ayesha (United States), Jan 27, 2006 at 16:59
Ahmed only told the story of initial attack of Arabs on India. The ruthlessness of muslim invaders continued for a thousand years.

Will Durant, the famous historian summed it up like this:
"The Islamic conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precious good, whose delicate complex of order and freedom, culture and peace, can at any moment be overthrown by barbarians invading from without or multiplying within."

Koenraad Elst , the german historian writes in "Negation in India"

The Muslim conquests, down to the 16th century, were for the Hindus a pure struggle of life and death. Entire cities were burnt down and the populations massacred, with hundreds of thousands killed in every campaign, and similar numbers deported as slaves. Every new invader made (often literally) his hills of Hindus skulls. Thus, the conquest of Afghanistan in the year 1000 was followed by the annihilation of the Hindu population; the region is still called the Hindu Kush, i.e. Hindu slaughter. The Bahmani sultans (1347-1480) in central India made it a rule to kill 100,000 captives in a single day, and many more on other occasions. The conquest of the Vijayanagar empire in 1564 left the capital plus large areas of Karnataka depopulated. And so on.

As a contribution to research on the quantity of the Islamic crimes against humanity, we may mention that the Indian (subcontinent) population decreased by 80 million between 1000 (conquest of Afghanistan) and 1525 (end of Delhi Sultanate)..

Read history, which I do, and you will see they do represent Islam. Saudi Arabia is the Vatican of Islam. They like many Islamic nations stone women, cut off hands and heads, support slavery, flog people for minor offenses, encourage the abuse of women to include beatings and even murder.

The countries that support international terrorism are all Islamic countries and when Muslim are polled: one third of British Muslim students support killing for Islam; 80% of “Palestinians” support jihad terror attacks on Israeli civilians; One out of four young U.S. Muslims believe homicide bombings against civilians are OK to "defend Islam," according to a new poll. Pew Research (2007): 26% of younger Muslims in America believe suicide bombings are justified.
35% of young Muslims in Britain believe suicide bombings are justified (24% overall).
42% of young Muslims in France believe suicide bombings are justified (35% overall).
22% of young Muslims in Germany believe suicide bombings are justified.(13% overall).
29% of young Muslims in Spain believe suicide bombings are justified.(25% overall).
