Our country has too many uninformed people and you are one.. We no longer have a military draft. We have a mercenary military. It is an all voluntary military.

Say what? This is what I read regarding 'liberals'. Liberals the past couple of weeks have been caught with their pants down;. Scandals: IRS, DOJ, Benghazi, etc. This administration may go down in history as the worst on record, even worse than Jimmy's.

She may be a Bush appointee, but she is an Obama employee.
Whether you know it or not, Bush has long been gone and she owes her allegiance to Obama.

CLWR's B of D's do not believe DISH will make a new bid of more than 3.40.. I do. I believe Ergin wants to grow his empire. DISH has reached it pinnacle of it profits. He sees taking over S and CLWR the potential for fantastic growth will be in his hands. If would not surprise me if Apple or Google or both just might bank roll him. Both of these giants have expressed interest in the world of wireless.
IMO, Ergin will follow through. He can see a 100 billion dollar empire for less than 40-50 billion dollars. Not a bad investment.

  • longpickuptruck by longpickuptruck May 22, 2013 10:36 AM Flag

Use a little common sense. The B of D's approved the 2.97, they would have to be idiots not to approve 3.40. This action, IMO, indicates that there is collusion taking place or some member or all have their hands under the table. There must be an indepth investigation of all of these transactions.

  • longpickuptruck by longpickuptruck May 22, 2013 10:04 AM Flag

IMO, Ergin has come to the conclusion that he has bled the sat. TV business for about all of the growth profit. Ergin is a man that wants to grow and the way he sees it growth is in the wireless business. It would cost him at least 100 billion dollars to enter as a start up, but if he can take over S for less that 50 billion, what a deal. Remember he gets most of CLWR free. I believe maybe Apple or Google or maybe both may be wheeling and dealing in the back room supporting Ergin. I believe Ergin will boost his offer just like S has boosted CLWR to 3.40.
As Sherlock Holmes said, "The game is afoot".

I like the way this administration has so many Americans brain washed. If the truth be known, almost every thing Obama has done has been detrimental to the economy and Wall Street, the DOW. What has driven the mkt has been Uncle Ben Bernanke printing 85 billion dollars of new money every month. This administration has on its hands about 20 million Americans unemployed, under employed and those that have stopped looking for work.
    You are brain washed.

I am probably wrong, but I do not think these things improve the looks of a woman. But, while waiting in the doctors office lobby I observed a near middle aged lady, about 250 pounds, many, many tattoos plus at least a half dozen visible body piercings and I thought she looked terrible. She must have looked very attractive to the younger looking man that was with her, they looked at each other affectionately. He had no visible tattoos and body piercings. I guess I will just shut up because I must be wrong.

The penny ante increase of Sprint's bid tells you they are trying to steal CLWR's 30 billion dollars worth of spectrum.
You are also correct to note the big bonuses the upper echelon mgrs. will receive if or when the deals are completed. The little stock holder will be the ones to suffer.
I believe Ergin will remain in the picture. I believe he has other corps backing him.

  • longpickuptruck by longpickuptruck May 21, 2013 9:18 AM Flag

If Sprint made an offer of 1 share of S for 1 share of CLWR it looks like to me the cost to S would be about 2.5 billion dollars. This would be paper money.

The IRS code in 1013 consisted of 1 page, today it is over 73,000 pages. No one can honestly answer any question about their taxes unless they are filing the short form which say how much you earned, this is how much tax you must pay. Otherwise there is no one that can completely answer your question. Like there is almost a 100 pages that define children.

I voted no for all of my shares. Just the spectrum CLWR owns makes the stock worth more than 2.97, even with the debt CLWR carries..

My heart cries for the people of the tornado disasters. But when you live in a disaster prone area you should have insurance to protect you from the disaster. This disaster has taken place in 'tornado alley'.
People live on the beach, flood/tidal waves: live in tornado alley/tornados: river basins floods: mountains landslides: forests wildfires: etc etc and etc. But no, they do not buy insurance they wait for the gov't to bail them out financially. Thinking must change.

  • longpickuptruck by longpickuptruck May 20, 2013 9:35 PM Flag

I voted against all 5 issues. I believe CLWR is worth much more than 2.97/share. Papa Son says the S deal must include CLWR. The spectrum is the crucial element. Some spectrum analysts say CLWR's spectrum has a mkt value of about 30 billion dollars.

    Beckams tattoos

Years ago when I was on Guam, a tattoo-ed friend of mine was having all of his very faded tattoos redone. Tattoos do not stay sharp for ever. My best friend had this to say about his, "I wish I had never had them put on, but I can't change what I have done". Think before you mark up your body.

You are correct. It does bother me to see so many young people marring up their bodies believing that it makes them more desirable. It is not the cult that has something against the tattoo, it is the cult that is promoting tattoos. Shame, shame and shame. How all 3 major religions refuse to denounce tattoos when it is a stated no-no in the Old Testament.

    I AM A MUSLIM

    by black911operator May 19, 2013 5:50 PM

To keep peace with Michelle, Obama joined Bro. Wright's Christian Church thereby supposedly giving up his muslim faith and becoming a Christian.... The Quarum says that no muslim can give up his faith. If he does it is the duty of any active muslim to kill the new infidel. If he kills an infidel he is guaranteed to go to heaven and sit with Allah and be served by 72 virgins. From what I gather Obama is not afraid to go into a muslim world for fear of being killed.. What does this tell you?/

  • longpickuptruck by longpickuptruck May 19, 2013 5:50 PM Flag

IMO, I believe CLWR is worth a lot more than the measly 2.97/share. I voted against each proposal.

  • longpickuptruck by longpickuptruck May 19, 2013 9:24 AM Flag

Just saw the great soccer player showing all of his tattoos. He reminds me of my trips to the carnivals to see the great 'Carny Geeks". In his case the it was the 'tattoo-ed man'. How people's minds have been warped to believe that tattoos make a man more handsome and macho or a woman prettier or sexier.
I have never met a person that has their body all marked up after a few years to say, "I'm glad I did this"
Think before you do this idiotic act..
