Here is a cut & paste from a Seeking Alpha article listed on the summary page. How weird is it??
Coming into today, we had a Buy-rating with an $855 price tag. Based on our updated model, we are now seeing shares worth $700 over the next twelve months. The main factors for this change are that we believe that we cannot price Apple in the same way we price other names and need to price it in its own specific way.""
I would be more than pleased to see a green close and hold Friday's gains - from what I read we are up from here thru 2014
Same question, I was thinking if apple pays their own lawyers then the money will be enough to buy a 6-Pack?
Award just over $200 million??? That pays lawyers and buys a 6-pack of beer?
Dang, I never got a reply from the company and it has jumped from $5.56, when I first considered buying in, to todays $13.00 while I twiddle my thumbs - I just wanted a corroborating source before jumping in. @#$@ !!!!!
Any explanation for the volume yet? I also asked the company if they have "milestones" and dates for expected project[s] advancements but have received no reply yet. Is there a resource that has this info? Product development expected stages & timelines?
yep happens to me but was not sure if it was amtd or my computer. Guess I will contact their tech support. usually happens with several windows open and trade arch in background
And now any negatively biased story towards Apple in the past year is being rehashed, dragged out and published thru the news services to aid in pushing stock price down. sheesshh! Wish I could play that scam.
Aha! The voices in our head are telling us that people are writing about yahoo stock price should reflect mail performance - instead of just writing facts.
Must be manipulation as you say! - Air pads go on sale and the stock drops in price before the quarter with the biggest sales - thanksgiving & Christmas etc???
I have that same problem.....I wish yahoo would give the paying mail customers a better break. & BTW yahoo's mail performance has never had any impact on its stock price.
Self fulling prophecy about the average 2% change in price after earnings announcement - and grab some cheap buy back shares?
I am a "premium" Yahoo mail person and I like that I can still have the service for the same price. I find it hard to believe anyone would pay the new price for "premium" as it has no advantages other than no ads in mail. The former premium features , pop etc, are free now. I think yahoo should throw the folks who pay a bone and lets us have "nested" folders for email like a drag & drop in windows folder system. Don't own stock so I am not in that dog fight. I also am annoyed by the new mail peculiarities listed above.
