Good luck to you Farhan. I enjoyed reading your posts.
However I will hold my NOKIA.
I have been in NOKIA since 2012 and will continue to hold for mediation ruling.
I think once we get even a whiff of Samsung/NOKIA mediation ruling it will be too late to get into a long position without paying a higher price.
I have watched NOKIA drop more than $1 from the highs, if I were smart enough I could have sold back then.... but now I think it is too late to sell.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

So CUTR isn't worth any more than $13? Thank you for the definitive value on CUTR.
I will sell Monday morning....why bother to hold if it is worth only $13?
CUTR is overbought and I expect a pull back...however I do expect a continued move higher
into 20s later in the year ... we shall see....

I think this is all noise. I don't think NOK will buy ALU.
One magazine mentioning a merger does not make it true.
I am sure a select few are making lots of money off this article.
Suri has made it clear he was not interested in making a big acquisition.
I will continue to hold strong and wait on mediation ruling.
    Best to all.

Difference between ERIC's CMD and NOK's

    Yeah...and talk is cheap.
Lets see in a quarter or two

  • Look at the charts...NOKIA goes up and down....means little in the long term.
Be patient...todays announcement while not spectacular is good and is a solid path to growth.
I am watching and holding with amusement while some choose to sell in premarket.
IMO NOKIA headed to double digits...ignore the day to day squiggly movements on the chart
    and think 2015.

  • Why Nokia Corporation Shares are a Buy on Indian Progress, Vodafone Group plc Results

DetailsWritten by Rob Shelton Category: Strategy C Published: 11 November 2014

    Nokia Corporation Shares

Shares in Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK), Nokia Oyj (HEL:NOK1V) are forecast to deliver further out-performance by research analysts at a prominent independent brokerage we follow.

A new update issued on NOK by Liberum follows the disclosure that Nokia Networks signed 10 deals across the 2G, 3G and 4G platforms in India during the September quarter and surpassed its nearest competitor (Ericsson) to become the largest equipment supplier by revenue.

The India region head also expects the momentum in India to continue, given the strong growth in data revenue seen in the financial results of Indian operators.

The Indian unit is expected to be a key business driver for Nokia Networks globally.

Separately Vodafone has said that only 40% of the mobile network deployment of its £19bn Project Spring is now complete.

Both Nokia and Ericsson are major suppliers to Vodafone and the deployment is expected to help drive revenue growth at Nokia Networks through 2015 as well in the opinion of Liberum Capital.

Commenting on the news, Janardan Menon at Liberum Capital says:

"Our buy thesis on Nokia is partly based on our view that sales growth at Nokia Networks will convert to higher margins and earnings in Q4'14 and through 2015.

"The strong contract and revenue trends in India as well as at Vodafone Group plc (LON:VOD) supports this view.

"As outlined in our price target upgrade note yesterday, we believe Nokia Networks is gaining share in a number of markets including the US, India, China, Japan and some other smaller countries.

"We expect Nokia Networks margins to beat conservative expectations in Q4'14, and show a further increase in 2015."

Nokia Oyj as a target share price set at #$%$7.5.

    Thank you NYSE.
Its never a bad idea taking profits.
I try to minimize my obligation to uncle Sam by holding over a year.
I know you were in ANIKA... so look at C, CUTR, SKUL.
I own all three with NOKIA, and I expect them to deliver strong gains in 2015.
    My humble opinion only.

You want to be an activist shareholder...be my guest.
Go right ahead, but that's not how you get management's attention....spending your time ranting and raving on a message board.
When my investment goals differ from what I am getting from management I will part ways (sell and move on), rather than waste all day complaining about it.

  • I have been in NOKIA since 2012 and will continue to hold.
NOKIA has been flat lining for more than a year.
I expect very little to come out at Capital Market day Nov 14.
I however do expect a significant move prior to Samsung/NOKIA mediation ruling mid 2015.
My advice, don't lose sleep over the short term price swings. We could be headed back below 8 again... and look for a large move during first and second qtrs 2015....at least that's what I believe.

  • I still am confused why anyone sells because an analyst says sell.

I think $.95 eps includes tax benefit 2.1b Euros and HERE write off 1.2b Euros.
The 900b Euro net is reflected in the IFRS eps.

I am quietly waiting on the sidelines for dbl-digits...its been a long time coming.
