I agree with you and I'm long a bunch of shares. when I read that about the emojis, I just shook my head and couldn't believe it. how embarrassing for them.
maybe we're looking for a buyout from the wrong group of google, fb, etc. maybe old media should realize how important it is and could be to revive their businesses. they sure could swallow twitter. I am not falling for the demise of twitter, holding all of my shares. it will not be this low in 6 months.
and finally some positive press. we could surely use a rally. but i'm holding no matter what, going to ride it out.
I sure hope so, otherwise we're doomed. when the shorts press in a market where everyone is fearful, we're just going to get creamed if the company isn't the buyer of last resort.
don't underestimate the big boys in media. hulu will be a formidable competitor to netflix. and i'm betting that old media companies may not sell their content to netflix in the future. you will want to own twx and the others.
seems sensible but pypl's market cap is huge. these companies would probably build their own if they wanted to compete.
it's about time they realized they were hurting their own business. but I do think there is going to be a need for the old media to colaborate/combine certain streaming projects. a streaming bundle is needed. and fast
i'd buy it at 30. nice if it got there.
Schwab says tentatively Thursday after the close. but we should get some pretty good stock action based on the oversold condition of depo. I respect depo's rebuff of hznp's business model.
what if twtr started charging a couple of bucks, maybe 4.99, for business or promotional tweets? I think they need to start charging for something. if people didn't use twitter what would they use for their 'simple messaging'?
