So if anything is coming we should get a PR after the close I would guess. Anything of material value that they will be discussing on the CC.
I.E. they sold the 7 million shares they owned last reported 6/30/2015.
Thank you for your confirmation and your effort to bring truth and facts to the board.
I already got rammed holding this stock, even tho the writing was on the wall and I was questioning Jacks judgement back when they sold Eisai the whole world for pennies on the dollar. Eisai was already floundering and they just passed the buck on to Eisai and released themselves from all accountability.
That would be your second mistake, I am long have been for years. Read my history.
But I am a realistic long and like to deal with facts, not hopes and dreams. Oppenheimer clearly sold out their position which is what your post was about and you are wrong. Did they do it for tax harvesting? We don't know. Since they sold the entire position they are not to worried about the wash sale rule, so something changed.
The fact that you can't admit you were wrong but want to call me a seller is nothing but a smoke screen. You are like Jack, sticking your head in the sand and hoping and praying that Eisai will turn this around for you......
Increased Positions 55 - 7,621,060
Decreased Positions 61 - 17,549,236
Held Positions 28 - 107,512,432
Total Institutional Shares - 144 - 132,682,728
I don't see them dumping, we are in tax loss harvesting season so I would expect some moving around.
You will find this little bit of information.
OPPENHEIMER FUNDS INC . 09/30/2015 - 0 - (7,000,000) - Sold Out
Yahoo data is old and they are slow to update changes, go to the NASDAQ site and look up Arena. On the left side select Institutional Ownership.
Now from there you have 2 ways to do it. Keep in mind that this data comes from the 13f which are due by the 15th of the month so not all have filed yet.
First way is to select the date and sort them by date, then you can go down and look at all of the 9/30 reported holdings.
Second way is to just select the Sold Out Tab.
You will see they did in fact sell out all of their holdings...
No its called Tax Loss Harvesting, but they sold the entire position so they can't buy it back for 31 days, so yes disturbing.
Not all tutes have reported but so far we are sitting at the following:
54.77% Tute Ownership
1,211,427 New Positions
7,687,517 Sold Out Positions
144 Tutes holding 132,682,728 shares
Again only half of the Tutes have been updated and are showing as of 9/30/15 13f reporting period.
Go to NASDAQ site and review the tute filings, the poster is correct as of 9/30/15 they closed out their position.
To UMA point, Hixson is not innocent and was in there right next to Jack making the bad decisions. The BOD sided with Jack, there was no evidence that their was infighting and disagreement on how the company was being managed. So I am not convinced that Hixson is the savior everyone is hoping for.
2.50 to 3.00 after the CC is going to be very difficult, unless they have a few surprises for us. So your post is a little more then speculation. The 10Q had some great news, filing in Taiwan, a beat of .02 or .03 depending on how you look at it. Yet the focus will be Arena will need to raise cash, the cut in burn is to little to late.
That is pure speculation, lets deal in facts here. The activity at Arena is the same activity that has been going on for the last year. Only changes so far is that Jack was fired and it is going to cost us 2 million to get rid of that worthless piece of flesh, and that we are laying off 80 researchers. That will slow the burn, we still blew thru what 340 million the last 3 years and have nothing to show for it.. Wall Street now has all the information they need. Arena is on the ropes and will have to raise cash in the next 12 months. It will be a race, can Arena get the 6 drugs through the proof of concept with good enough results to get partners in to inject needed cash in 12 months or will Arena break down and dilute like mad for their needed working capital...
I posted earlier that we are already down this rabbit hole just run the company to 100 million if we are going to end up with 5 or 6 drugs with stellar results from the Phase 2 studies. The need for cash will put a weight on the stock price and create massive short games since a dilution is almost assured.
Did you read about the filing in Taiwan? That was good news and not expected. CYB filed in Taiwan. Soon we will have another market.
Termanogrel is not our study and it being done by one of our collaborators. Just like with Axon, so don't read anything into that. Axon is moving forward with their Phase 2 and we are doing nothing with it, same situation with Temanogrel.
You might want to re read the post. The point was that Ildong and the Swiss factory doing as much as our marketing partner that controls the entire US market.
