Might look like? 38 Billion for buyouts, and I will tell you Jack wants to much for buyout, so I think they are pushing for partnership. After Phase 2 12 week data comes out we will have proof of concept. We could see 200-250 million upfront payment, another billion towards continued development and milestones to NDA approval. Really cheap for the partner when you consider they buyout prices being paid and they control the deug. A partneeship like this will push the stock up over 12 easily.
Hmmmmm, brought up halted TV ads, rumor of more downsizing, lack of any print ads, sales dropping and no "new push focused at the DTC market"
to zero. Jack is out and we need Audet and a few others out as well. Then we can get some new blood in there that can actually put together a good deal and hold Eisai's feet to the fire.
I should have said Investor Relations with Eisai, oh and the guys name? You may call him if you wish David Levine.... David is very adamant that Eisai is committed to Belviq..
Geez SV go away. You are like a ping pong ball bouncing all over the place. All of your predictions have failed to come true. Losing this dead weight is good for the company and in the long run will be better for us.
We don't need to bring a new CEO on. Call Pfizer back to the table and get a 6 billion all stock offer and run with it. Pfizer will get all 5 of these drugs through the pipeline in a very short time frame and eject Eisai for being incompetent....
Now you have become a basher? I have watched you flip like 3 times now. Everyone is still waiting for the big announcement you said was coming like 6 Tuesdays ago. I think you have lost any and all cred you might have had. You might want to change your id.
This post is not about setting a buyout price, just looking at what a partnership could look like. If the Phase 2 APD 334 12 week data is good ir great, I think one of the brides waiting for this data signs and seals a deal.
I just don't believe that we are being set up for a hostile takeover. Does not mean that somebody wont do a tender offe but I would not take a $6 or $7 a share tender offer. Also don't forget that Eisai has the right of first refusal and can put a stop to the tender offer. Or have the right to match the bid. I guess Eisai could be the tender, but I just dont see it. I could be wrong, I have been on this stock in the past.
this is how easy it is when you have no volume. You peg the Ask and buy all you can at the bid. Drop the bid and move the Ask down... This is how institutions buy into stocks.
Thought this would get some conversations going on the different ideas about what a partnership would look like after APD 334 proof of concept is past its half way point and has proven to be effective. A friend of mine thinks that my numbers are to small for a potential partnership for APD 334.
If a company is willing to take on all of the risk of an entire operation for 7.3 billion and still has the phase 3 to pay for and get through, a marketing partnership should be worth a lot more then 200-250 million up front and a billion in development and milestone payments. Since the bulk of the money is not spent until success and milestone payments reducing the amount of risk for the dollars paid. I personally don't think a 1.5 billion plus dollar total before sales is possible, but the market is big enough to maybe bring that kind of dollar figure.
I wonder what kind of percentage we get? I would hope Arena just gives them a per bottle minimum and the more the units sell the higher they pay from that base bottle price, or something like that. Easier to calculate going forward...
Something's up we haven't seen a commercial in 18 days. Longest in the past was I think 6 or 7 days while they were reading their contract
APD 334 is in Phase 2 right now and first part will be completed in 12 weeks and then will continue for an additional 40 weeks.
And how do you propose we retire him? The shareholder vote against the BOD was only 10% of the total votes and 5% of the total float. Not enough to make a difference. It takes activism to correct this company in the short run.
Really, what is the purpose of trying to look like me? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery - thank you.
