Doesn't look like anyone believes that "replenishing" will come from ANR. Global coal prices have been rallying.... except for US coal. No love for US coal as greenfinger keeps pleasuing Obama. By the way.... did you know the earth actually is flat? No... seriously.... there are places where you can put a very long level on it and the bubble will sit in dead center. Its all in the eye of the beholder.

Keep holding your breath you greenies..... no exhaling allowed! No farting either!

If there is economic isolation of Russia, you may be looking at 2008 pricing for coal (thermal). What's more.... ANR has the best port capacity to service Rotterdam. This would be a good one to sit on. So... Go ahead... start your adult nursing relationship (ANR) now!

  • lvloriarty by lvloriarty Jul 25, 2014 10:57 AM Flag

If my calculations are correct... you are going to see a massive continuation of the rise in Rotterdam coal prices in the coming 6 months to a year.

There may not be any other choice but to isolate Russia to end this nonsense.

The Shanghai composite did pop last night with China coal companies........ but the bears will say: "This isn't China".... despite them claiming China has to recover for coal to recover for the past 2-3 years.

  • That is what you get if you search for "ANR" on Bing. LMAO!!!!!

In other words... I fyou like to drinnk the milk from the breast of another human.... do an ANR search.

The agenda is moving along perfectly. Successfully turned the peoples attitude toward their primary source of energy... It won't be long now until we control it all.

Look at WLB a negative BV Coal Stock

a negative book value.... and a lot MORE debt than ANR if you consider debt to cash ratio. What you are seeing in WLB is likely what you are going to start seeing in WLT in the near future. This is what you call a short ball explosion. What is key is the amount of shares. WLT and WLB have very few shares in comparison to something like ANR. You get folks looking at their horrible Q reports and saying HEY! THAT'S AN EASY MONEY SHORT! and the float is so low, I should make a killing REAL FAST!!!!

BUT - what you don't see is the "fat cats". They look at cumulative short positions versus long positions. They know who owns how much and how strong their hands are. Then they take a position that can benefit themselves in their grand scheme of manipulation. YES - the market IS rigged.

A stock like ANR is not going anywhere. Too many shares are floating in the unknown realm of retail longs. You see the Jan '15 call open interest? This stock will not hold above 5$ until after those calls have expired worthless in january. Those calls are a hedged risk management against a monstrous short position.

In other words - the folks that sold those call contracts and hold the monster short position WANT THIS STOCK AS CLOSE TO ZERO AS POSSIBLE BEFORE JANUARY OPTIONS EXPIRE.

so go ahead and sell your shares to them at a cheaper price and go somewhere else.

  • lvloriarty lvloriarty Jul 18, 2014 10:12 AM Flag

If the Indians had half a brain they would own the majority of ANR shares right now when the DOOOOOOOOOSH bags were tossing them around in high volumes on a regular basis just a month ago. THey could have easily bought about half the shares in one quarter and had access to the ports and the coal.

In the meantime.... enjoy being under your lovely DEMOCRATIC THUMB

    Nothing panic...

The last time that NG levels were as much as 30% or more below 5 year averages, the stocks were replaced before winter. However... the price of natural gas soared despite the replenishing of the stocks. If you want to make your money back, buy NG or UNG on the dip. coal will continue to get battered for the next 2 years until dem0crats get the boot. Obviously.... the cold has not gone away. and if you think this winter is going to be any warmer than last - you got another thing coming. This is just the beginning. It will be about 3-4 years before the truth is frozen into these hypocrites minds and coal gets its proper recognition.

In the meantime... feel free to engorge yourself in the lies that are continually published by the leftists that have infiltrated enough key spots to maintain this level of screwage at least until the end of the democrats era of screwage. I wonder how long folks can tolerate being lied to on a daily basis before they start standing up and kicking some assets.

Garbage!!!!! The only advantage people have in investing in this company is getting a lower tax rate as it will take well over a year for anyone to get their money back on it.

What would you expect him to say if you get someone in office like Obama claiming he would bankrupt folks if they build a new coal plant? Look at coal stocks at the end of the last Democratic presidency. It doesn't take a genius to put it together that Democratic presidents are not good for American industry.

    what did i tell you?

  • And its Coal..... It probably is not true.

  • lvloriarty lvloriarty Jul 16, 2014 10:56 AM Flag

That depends on how you look at it- for example- carbon in your drinking water in the form of organic matter is definitely a pollutant. From your perspective, you are probably referring to the molecule CO2... Since CO2 is the base molecule that feeds plant life which feeds animal life and generates this organic matter, feces, you can say that CO2 is a cause of pollution. Now you as well as everyone know that if you are"green" your feces is special, doesn't stink, and could in no way be a pollutant. Only if you support coal is your feces a pollutant.

China steel at record production!!!!! AND THIS COAL STOCK IS TOAST. They always say they are going to slow down production, but they never do.... and idiot producers keep selling them dirt cheap blast furnace fuel at a loss.

  • lvloriarty by lvloriarty Jul 16, 2014 7:04 AM Flag

Ready for your daily shellacking? Do you really think that with all the money spent on spreading the word to the world through every possible media source about how awful coal is..... That this stock is all of a sudden going to go up?

Give it up! You have governments against you! Your own government wants to bankrupt this company! It has no chance! Sell sell sell! The coldest US winter in decades and it's still rock bottom! The highest production ever of steel in China... AND ITS STILL ROCK BOTTOM.

    Sell sell sell!!!
