Well, if you think the world is going to #$%$, you may just want to bury yourself in your bunker and cling to your MREs and guns. I won't be retiring for another 20 years, so I can weather the ups and downs
I think this all depends on your time horizon. It may be disappointing in the short-term, but the projects they have coming on-line in the next 3 years should be nicely accretive
Just saying, I've been burned before, and I'd rather see it settle a little instead of chasing it on the way down. The only thing preventing it from falling further is more buyers, by the way. I've seen 10% dividend stocks get shorted and keep falling. See LINE, for example.
I'm going to wait for the bleeding to stop before I add. I've jumped in front of that truck before, and I'm always a few dollars early. Good luck
Haha, of course. That's why I put the wink. I just remember when you first started the FB group, you seemed to mention it in every single reply, so I was (as the British say) just taking the #$%$ out of you. No ill feeling intended
OP, you could have resolved this with one easy phone call to Discover. I've been a cardholder of theirs for 12 years now and on the off chance that I missed a payment, I resolved it with a quick phone call, and they waived the interest and penalty.
This doesn't excuse them harassing a loyal card member, and I would be really annoyed as well. In the future, if you always pay on time and accidentally miss a payment, just call your credit card company. It's much easier
The problem with too much leverage is that even if you're right, you may not get the time to prove it b/c of margin calls. Tread lightly, my friend...and good luck
