It isn't crazy volume, really, but being up over 3% in a boring stock like this when the overall market is down seems a little odd. Wonder if there's a deal in the works or some other good news that hasn't been released yet?
Since they have most of the major institutions, I would expect them to raise rates as well. We should be able to make money hand over fist...or at least you would think so
They still have to actually make money. I love the tech, love the promise of the company, but I'm still wondering about execution here. With litigation costs out of the way, it'll be interesting to see what the next 2-3 quarters show us...
Yeah, just kind of curious what's going to happen with the reverse split and how that might affect things. I'm afraid there may be some shorting right after the R/S. Thoughts?
I was. However, unlike a lot of posters here who just make up how many shares they've got, I only own 10k shares as a pure spec/gamble/lotto ticket portion of my portfolio. I lurk around here once in a while and enjoy your discussions but have nothing to add, so I stay in the background. Cheers
While I agree with you regarding the divisiveness of the current political regime (and did not vote for Obama), it don't think it really serves any purpose to discuss that here. Security and police wearing cameras is one of the main bullet point reasons why I bought AMBA, however, and incidents such as the one in Ferguson will only serve to perhaps expedite the adoption of such cameras. I believe AMBA does make the most efficient chip on the market for this, but we do have competitors, as others have noted. Seems like this would be a no-brainer acquisition for Qualcomm, Broadcom, Intel, or even someone like Microsoft and Google. GL all
It's not even 2,000 shares worth at/above $2.10, so I don't think it's anything to get excited about
As a long-term holder w/ a cost basis around 25, I actually unloaded 100 shares last night at $30, expecting that it would take a while for people to see the numbers. I actually thought it would drop to $27 today so I could scoop them right back up. I'm still very long, and I love the company's niche, just tried to make a quick buck on a trade
