On December 1, 1913, Henry Ford installed the first moving assembly line for the mass production of an entire automobile. His innovation reduced the time i took to build a car more than 12 hours and 30 minutes.
On October 16, 1958, Chevrolet began selling a car-truck hybrid that it called the El Camino. It was inspired by the Ford Ranchero, which had been on the market for two years.
For the first time, Henry Ford's entire Highland Park, Michigan, automobile factory was run on a continuously
moving assembly line when the chassis and the automobile's frame were assembled using this revolutionary
