Excellent Point, Tom Higgins is very receptive and might just listen if enough shareholders who have a vested interest in the future of Neurometrix start voicing their concern about how Quell is being marketed and suggest some of the online venues available to them.

What if they were to feature Quell on Amazon and Ebay and Alibaba (Chinese Market) and Groupon and HSN and QVC, Now you are talking a rocket ride to another galaxy in sales. They can not limit their scope to just 100 doctors offices they have to market Quell on a grand scale, so what if they can't keep up with production they can always outsource production to a third party.

The more eyes that see Quell the more potential sales. IMHO

  • As I was typing a reply to my previous post about Cedric the Entertainer and his Step -on-up Diabetic Nerve Pain Television commercial, I spotted a Lyrica advertisement on the right side of the Yahoo message board, it says, Lyrica is used to treat diabetic nerve pain, Wow, the market to treat diabetic nerve pain must be huge, that really bodes well for Neurometrix with their non invasive Quell device.

Ok, But it still brings up the subject of Diabetic Nerve Pain, and what if the patient does not want to take meds and asks their doctor if there is any other treatment besides popping pills. Quell could be the answer to everyone's pain problems, Neurometrix is getting free advertising just by Cedric the Entertainer talking about Diabetic Nerve Pain. IMHO

  • I was watching Wheel of Fortune last evening and during the commercial break there was Cedric the Entertainer in a Step-on-up television commercial, he was talking about Diabetic Nerve Pain (Neuropathy), And people don't have to suffer any more, there is relief for Diabetic Nerve Pain, just tell your doctor and he will be able to help you eliminate nerve pain. Step-On -up is the campaign.

I wonder if NURO is affiliated with the Step-on-up campaign?????

    I sure Hope so.

I Totally Agree. The time for Quell is Now! With all the Icy Hot commercials featuring Shaq, and the other TENS products that compete with Quell, The time to act is Now, Management cannot wait a few quarters out to realize this. If they snooze, we all lose.

Management getting huge salaries while shareholders watch PPS erode steadily every day.

  • Ok, Neurometrix has the 14.7 million from the secondary offering, now it time to put that money to work.
They have to start aggressively marketing their Quell product to the public, not just through doctors referrals and their newly hired sales team. They Can Not let this golden opportunity pass them by. They should immediately, Yes, I mean yesterday, start advertising Quell on every internet venue available, Ebay, Amazon, Groupon, Alibaba, Yelp and the many other venues in cyberspace. they should contact HSN and QVC and reserve a slot to get Quell out to the captive television audience provided by both networks.

I believe that if management becomes complacent and just lets this opportunity pass, they will burn through the 14.7 on executive compensation and the Quell product will become obsolete by competing products before it even gets marketed.

Also, As a sign of good faith, Management could take a voluntary pay reduction or even a pay freeze to convey to their shareholders that they truly believe in the new Quell product and are willing to put their money where their mouth is.

Watching the daily NURO PPS erosion is like Chinese water torture. Time for damage control.

Don't forget the recurring revenues that will be generated by sales of electrodes that will be needed to keep the device operational. I was hoping for 5-10K units per month which is easily attainable with an "Aggressive Marketing Campaign".

    Time will tell.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Sales numbers for Quell could easily reach 500 million dollars or more if Management aggressively markets this product, via all the online venues available to them, HSN, QVC, Ebay, Amazon, Alibaba, Groupon and countless other marketplaces. They can not just sit back and let this opportunity slip away. Doctors offices and a tiny in house sales force just isn't going to produce the volumes that are needed to propel NURO's PPS into the stratosphere.

Ebay and Amazon would also be great venues to market Quell, Heck, selling them out of my trunk is better than doing nothing, wake up management, Time to step up to the plate, PPS will not be able to sustain another secondary.

My Point Exactly, Home Shopping Network HSN and QVC, they have captive audiences, mostly Older retired people who would benefit from the Quell device.

Management has to be proactive, NOW is not the time to be complacent!! This Golden opportunity will quickly fade away if they don't capitalize on it.

If NURO management markets Quell aggressively, via, HSN and QVC and all other retail outlets available to them, this product's sales numbers will take off like a rocket, they will not have to raise more capital or get additional financing because the revenue generated from sales of Quell, Sensus and DPN Check will allow the to become a self sustaining company.

Now the million dollar question, Is management ready the grab the bull by the horns and run with this opportunity or are they going to continue being complacent and let this golden opportunity pass them by.

Managenent needs to immediately start looking for a medical equipment company like Abbott Labs or Johnson & Johnson to partner up with that has the resources to move NURO's products forward.

Get off your #$%$ and Sieze the Moment before its too late.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • As I watch NURO stock continue to make lower lows, it just dawned on me, NURO management needs to take their Quell product on The Home Shopping Network and QVC where they have a captive audience (many of which are elderly retired senior citizens) to market a pain relief device. The exposure the Quell device will receive will make sales skyrocket in a very short time. Also they can take the Quell device on CNBC's Shark Tank, hopefully one of their Angel Investors or Venture Capitalist's will partner up with NURO and the PPS will rebound quite rapidly. IMHO Something is better than doing nothing.

Apple is a very frugal company, why would they buy a medical device company like NVRO and spend billions when they can pick up NURO for 50 to 100 million and own a similar technology for a fraction of the cost.

I agree with HTPFF that NURO can not continue on its current trajectory and continue doing secondary offerings just to finance their day to day operations.

They have to begin an aggressive marketing campaign to launch their Quell product into the chain drugstores and large box stores as well as all the online marketplaces available to them. In the mean time they have to contact Goldman Sachs or Morgan Stanley and let the markets know they are looking for a partner with deep pockets to move this product along. Also management could offer to take a temporary compensation reduction until sales and revenues start to materialize. If management does not become very aggressive and wholeheartedly market their Quell product over the next few quarters, this whole new product launch will be in vain. Now is not the time for complacency. IMHO

    Apple I-Phone/Quell device

    by macuder Apr 29, 2015 10:16 AM
macuder macuder Apr 29, 2015 3:59 PM Flag

All the legal mumbo jumbo aside, do you think the teams of engineers at Apple are just sitting on their #$%$ not thinking about venturing into the medical field with the I-Phone and I-Watch, they can slim the Quell device down and have it contained within the I-Phone along with other medical devices to monitor Blood/Glucose levels, blood pressure and heart rates for people with abnormal rhythms. The possibilities are endless for the applications in the medical field, but NURO could be purchased very inexpensively by Apple or any other technology or medical company looking to expand their horizons.

Many Diabetic patients still suffer from neuropathy and the excruciating pain that goes along with it even though their blood/glucose levels are well controlled. What about patients with back, shoulder or knee injuries that were previously addicted to the Benzos and Opiates because that was the only course of treatment for their severe pain. Neurometrix Quell device is a viable alternative treatment for many of these patients.

In My Opinion, the current medical system is a dinosaur that faces extinction if left alone in its current state, but with major technological changes could become much more efficient and cost effective.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Just imagine if this Quell Pain Relief device was incorporated into the Apple I-Phone, you could be at work with a sore back and attach your I-Phone to your back or wherever you have pain. Don't you think the engineers at Apple are thinking up new applications for the I-Phone and I-Watch, Almost everyone has an I-Phone or an Android Phone so why not incorporate a device like Quell into a phone so it is as easy to use for pain as popping an aspirin. Apple has to continuously innovate and improve their existing products as well as make new products, it would make a lot of sense for Apple to expand into the medical field with, virtual doctors via the I-Phone and I-watch, people would be able to see a physician 24/7 anywhere in the world who could diagnose their condition and treat them for pain or whatever ails them right over the I-Phone. Imagine the cost savings for people and companies paying high health insurance premiums. Maybe its wishful thinking on my part but the way APPLE has emerged and literally changed the world, I believe anything is possible in the not so distant future.
