  • As I watch NURO stock continue to make lower lows, it just dawned on me, NURO management needs to take their Quell product on The Home Shopping Network and QVC where they have a captive audience (many of which are elderly retired senior citizens) to market a pain relief device. The exposure the Quell device will receive will make sales skyrocket in a very short time. Also they can take the Quell device on CNBC's Shark Tank, hopefully one of their Angel Investors or Venture Capitalist's will partner up with NURO and the PPS will rebound quite rapidly. IMHO Something is better than doing nothing.

    delusions of apple pie

Apple is a very frugal company, why would they buy a medical device company like NVRO and spend billions when they can pick up NURO for 50 to 100 million and own a similar technology for a fraction of the cost.

I agree with HTPFF that NURO can not continue on its current trajectory and continue doing secondary offerings just to finance their day to day operations.

They have to begin an aggressive marketing campaign to launch their Quell product into the chain drugstores and large box stores as well as all the online marketplaces available to them. In the mean time they have to contact Goldman Sachs or Morgan Stanley and let the markets know they are looking for a partner with deep pockets to move this product along. Also management could offer to take a temporary compensation reduction until sales and revenues start to materialize. If management does not become very aggressive and wholeheartedly market their Quell product over the next few quarters, this whole new product launch will be in vain. Now is not the time for complacency. IMHO

    Apple I-Phone/Quell device

    by macuder Apr 29, 2015 10:16 AM

All the legal mumbo jumbo aside, do you think the teams of engineers at Apple are just sitting on their #$%$ not thinking about venturing into the medical field with the I-Phone and I-Watch, they can slim the Quell device down and have it contained within the I-Phone along with other medical devices to monitor Blood/Glucose levels, blood pressure and heart rates for people with abnormal rhythms. The possibilities are endless for the applications in the medical field, but NURO could be purchased very inexpensively by Apple or any other technology or medical company looking to expand their horizons.

Many Diabetic patients still suffer from neuropathy and the excruciating pain that goes along with it even though their blood/glucose levels are well controlled. What about patients with back, shoulder or knee injuries that were previously addicted to the Benzos and Opiates because that was the only course of treatment for their severe pain. Neurometrix Quell device is a viable alternative treatment for many of these patients.

In My Opinion, the current medical system is a dinosaur that faces extinction if left alone in its current state, but with major technological changes could become much more efficient and cost effective.

  • Just imagine if this Quell Pain Relief device was incorporated into the Apple I-Phone, you could be at work with a sore back and attach your I-Phone to your back or wherever you have pain. Don't you think the engineers at Apple are thinking up new applications for the I-Phone and I-Watch, Almost everyone has an I-Phone or an Android Phone so why not incorporate a device like Quell into a phone so it is as easy to use for pain as popping an aspirin. Apple has to continuously innovate and improve their existing products as well as make new products, it would make a lot of sense for Apple to expand into the medical field with, virtual doctors via the I-Phone and I-watch, people would be able to see a physician 24/7 anywhere in the world who could diagnose their condition and treat them for pain or whatever ails them right over the I-Phone. Imagine the cost savings for people and companies paying high health insurance premiums. Maybe its wishful thinking on my part but the way APPLE has emerged and literally changed the world, I believe anything is possible in the not so distant future.

  • Apple could buyout NURO for 100 million dollars and incorporate the Quell device right into their Apple Watch as another great feature of the Apple watch, it relieves pain as well as all the other things it does. Apple is very proactive, imagine how the Apple watch sales would soar if it had medical applications as well as a personal defibrillator and also relieved nerve pain. Wow, Go NURO

I agree, Jesus, Moses, Allah and the pope could not have turned this stock around today. The have lost all credibility, No one even takes what they say seriously anymore. The conference call last night was a prime example, 2 callers well 3 including Block.

Lets see what next week brings, maybe Omar has a trick up his sleeve.

Enjoy Your Weekend and Have a Safe and Joyous Holiday Season to All.

  • As Omar and Matt stated in the CC, they have to regain NQ's credibility, they know the shareholders don't want to hear excuses or #$%$ anymore. The shareholders want action, they have to prove themselves as if they were just starting out as a new company. It is not going to be an easy task but if they start making money and unlocking the value in their recent acquisitions maybe they can redeem themselves. Time will tell, at least the 3 qtrs. of earnings are out of the way and they can try to move forward. GLTA

Congo, I been following this POS since the IPO and I totally agree with your direction, We need someone to join the conference call this evening and ask knowledgeable questions of management.
Would you be up to the task?

I know many of the longs despise Apple but I think (by Observing his posts for the past Year) is very knowledgeable on NQ Mobile and would be a good candidate to ask the questions we want posed to management. If someone don't ask tough questions Omar and Co. will just give us the same old song and dance number.
    What do you think?

Apple,It Cant hurt to try, register for the conference call and see what happens, I am sick of the phony questions from the analysts, " Hi Guys, Congratulations on the Great quarters, we really appreciate you keeping us in the dark for the past year, can you continue with your complacent attitudes and total dis-regard for your shareholders, Even though you have totally destroyed any credibility you had left after the Muddy Waters attacks and releasing of the 20F, you did nothing to stop the carnage to your share price and reputation. I speak for all us Analysts, We Still Love You Omar, Keep up the Good Work"

We need someone to ask tough questions tonight, anyone up to the task, If Evan01111 were still here he would do it, I think Apple would make us all proud.

We need someone to post tough questions so we can get the truth from management, We need to know the Truth, whether long or short.

Come on, Apple, Step up to the plate.

Yes, Apple has been a basher all along but he is also very knowledgeable about NQ Mobile, he has been following this position and knows the stock like the back of his hand. Don't you agree, we need tough questions posted to management, not sugar coated quieries that will be asked by the phony analysts from the street who don't even cover NQ, We need real answers enough of the games management has been playing and who else to ask them tough questions but someone who knows the stock very well. Unless you can ask the tough questions we all want answers, We Want The Truth, enough of silence and evasion tactics, constantly avoiding its shareholders.
What do you say Apple? Are you up to the task?

Apple, Why don't you join the conference call and ask your questions so we can get Omar and Matt squirming in their seats. I am sure they will allow you to ask your questions, just tell them you are a shareholder when you register for the call. We need answers not Fluff and Bullsheet from management and who else is more qualified to ask the difficult questions then someone who has followed NQ Mobile since its IPO. You would be doing all of us a great service, longs and shorts, Do it for your arch nemesis, Evan01111.
    Thanks.
