    Hello Guys
    I got an iPhone6 Plus
I put it in my pocket -- the back on which is quite a stretch--NO BENDS HERE.. The story in pure bolder---dash--made to make Samsung look good- But if consumer union or people wish to believe the hype I got papers to sell them the Brooklyn Bridge..
So IMHO iPhone 6 Plus is a winner---Apple has reported that sales of the iPhone 6plus ae now back ordered for up to 4 weeks and the AT&T stores have no 6plus at all
My guess is we close at $101 today... Lets see I love the APPLE story and loads more positive news on new products coming right up.
If one is looking for a sell off reason the European suit on APPLE taxes seems to be the bogy man, to me....

    MARK
well said--and thanks for your support on this message board....
I nibbled 2 weeks ago on SFL and now look at me -- me thinks we may see $15 soon --looks like a very week tape to me===A load of talk about the "death cross" on Russell so may be we got a correction in the making... The China and Europe thing shows lots of weakening over all markets

  • we know, the key metrics relative to the two mREITs that focus primarily on agency residential mortgage backed securities that I am most familiar with, Annaly Capital and American Capital Agency showed some strengths and weaknesses. The present article has improved my outlook on Two Harbors. I am most impressed with the company's conservatism when it comes to its leverage ratios. Two Harbors has leverage risk that is less than half that of American Capital and Annaly Capital, yet it manages to deliver a comparable yield from its holdings and a superior interest rate spread. The company has seen its debt-to-equity rise over the last year, but this has followed the industry and Two is well below industry average. In that article, I cited that Two Harbors had several strengths and weaknesses. The company has some diversification within its own portfolio, although the portfolio would be safer if it was further diversified. The company's hedging strategies are of course weighted toward its agency residential mortgage backed securities, and I believe the hedges are appropriate. In conclusion, based on my first article and this second in-depth look into the portfolio of Two Harbors, at its current price point, it is a good long-term buy in my estimation. It looks better after this in-depth review of the company's holdings. Ask yourself how much risk you are comfortable with and proceed from there, as not all mREITs are created equal.

    STAGG
Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) - PROCESSES AND MARKETS AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES AND PROCESSES OILSEED FOR THE FOOD AND FEED INDUSTRIES. IBD gives ADM a score of 90 and Barchart 100% long term score. Fidelity score of 8.1 out of ten --very good
My question is corn is low priced now-how does ADM profit by corn low price?/

    BOB

I saw that the oil has NOT been confirmed by drilling a second well? Dunno if it is to yield a good reserve!
Saw this today-Russia drafting law to seize oil asserts
In the headlines CNN this morning. There getting desperate and this always leads to BAD financial decisions. It's time to abandon the SDRL Russian Deal. The Russian government can not be trusted to stay out of SDRL's dealings. I wonder just how much this I'd going to cost us.

  • Apple higher after Stifel, BMO hike iPhone estimates • 11:48 AM
    Eric Jhonsa, SA News Editor
Bendgate isn't a concern for Stifel's Aaron Rakers: Citing "continued strong demand data points" for the iPhone 6 (AAPL +1.4%) and an expectation Chinese sales will start by year's end, he's raising respectively raising his FQ4 and FQ1 iPhone sales estimates by 1.8M and 6.7M to 39.6M and 65.3M, while reiterating a Buy.
Rakers adds a stronger mix of iPhone 6/6 Plus sales could yield upside to his forecasts. He thinks the 6/6Plus could account for 60-70% of FQ1 iPhone sales, leading iPhone ASP to rise to $680 or higher. ASP was only at $561 in FQ3, and $596 in FQ2.
The iPhone 6 carries unsubsidized U.S. prices of $649-$849, and the 6 Plus prices of $749-$949. Rakers notes Apple's decision to double the storage capacities of higher-capacity models could also provide an ASP lift.
BMO's Keith Bachman (Outperform) has upped his FY15 (ends Sep. '15) iPhone sales estimate by 10.6M units to 189M. The hike comes even though Bachman "[remains] unclear about Apple’s ability to sell the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in China, particularly in the December quarter." He's also setting an FY15 Apple Watch forecast of 12M units.
Also: MacRumors reports Apple is prepping a refresh for the Mac Mini, which was last updated two years ago. The site thinks the refresh could arrive in October, along with new iPads and Mac OS X Yosemite.
Yesterday: Apple falls as Bendgate, iOS 8.01 get more publicity
