What are your thoughts? The market obviously views this as a positive right now (the stock is up 7%), however, does this mean that we will slowly build revenue in the upcoming years?
Are you excited about the development, or sad that the length of the contract (through 2016) means that there are no intentions to sell the company?
I've been sitting on pins and needles all afternoon as I watched our stock first take a nose dive this morning before showing incredible strength and climbing to all time highs. It is now being hit hard again, and I am wondering what everyone thinks we will end today at: green or red? Thanks for your opinion!
Sorry, I am not invested in this stock, I am just trying to do a bit of industry analysis. What is the difference between FDP and San Francisco based Del Monte which completed an LBO recently? Thanks for your help.
We have approval, we have resolution from Abbott, what is keeping us down? Am I silly to think that this is a very safe buy and hold as we ramp up sales? Any help is appreciated.
The stock price posted after hours was 20.35. I tried to buy shares at this price, remembering the results the last time it was attacked after hours, and my bid expired...even though I posted a limit of 20.5. What happened?
Does anyone think it is possible for this to run up to 30 again and have the market makers push it down to the low 20's again, or do you think it is off to the races now? (after the last couple of documents that have been released reducing risk and with the upcoming conferences this week?) Thanks for your opinion...I am long; however, I also failed to sell any shares when we were in the high 20's last time.
How do we know that we are going to hear news after today's meeting? From my reading, there are relatively few people at the meeting. It would therefore be hard for them to trade the stock as they would have insider information. Also if they were to be the "leak" it would also be traced back easily. IMO this isn't like a medical conference where there are lots of individuals taking part. What if they vote that VHC's patents are essential and that they are going to buy VHC collectively to make the patents available to all corporate members. Then a "leak" would significantly hurt everyone involved in the meeting as it would bid up the price of VHC.
All IMO. I hope to hear news as I fear what shorts will do to the stock if there is no news, however, I feel it is also likely that there will be no news released after the meeting today.
I have owned shares of VHC for awhile now, but am interested in buying some call options to increase profits in case of a buyout or another significant run up in the near future. Any tips on what calls to look into? Sorry, I have never purchased options before. Thanks!
Anyone know what has caused the PPS to drop from 3.11+ to its current state? I have been trying to read about this stock as much as possible, but there doesn't seem to be too much information out there. The company has been growing at a rapid pace, I just can't figure out why we have been down recently. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
Me too. After the ASCO fiasco where I kept buying shares because I became so excited, I told myself I was going to take my profits the next time. It's funny because it fell harder after ASCO, but I held onto my shares there. I believed in the system, and at that point had no reason to doubt management. This time I sold all. I think Delcath has the opportunity to save a many lives, however, I do not trust management anymore and I am scared of losing more money. Unfortunately while I have not been able to learn how to take profits after a stock soars like DCTH has in the past, I am more than able to cut my losses. Hopefully I will be able to buy back in again around $5.50 and can ride it to the top one last time.
I am curious if anyone else feels like the MM may have supplied artificial demand in order to drive the price up and get momentum buyers in order to short at a higher price with the idea that we may not get fast track approval this weekend.
I have held my position in DCTH for a number of years now, and have seen both the highs and the lows. Despite holding onto my position through the ASCO fiasco and numerous financings, I am just now starting to get uneasy. I guess it is because the decision day is so close. The last public statement by Hobbs is eating away at me as well. What is everyone's opinion of selling my position and buying short term calls to cover myself in case we do not get fast track approval? I am worried that if we do not get the fast track approval, that we will drop down to the 6's again and it will be a long time until we see these levels again. Thanks for your help!
I have been looking to diversify some of my profits from other biomed stocks, and am wondering if I am too late for the DEPO party. What has caused the run up the past couple of days?
Also, in your opinion, what are the odds that DEPO does not gain FDA approval in 2011 for DM-1796? Thanks
I am new to DRJ, however, I am looking to build a position. Any thoughts on a good entry point? Do you think it will go lower, or will pps increase with increased revenue expectations?
I am new here, as I have seen many people post about this stock on forums of other biotech stocks that I am currently invested in. My main question is, how long until this company has its product approved by the FDA. I read the recent article today about the stock hitting targets and therefore receiving $, however, I am wondering if I should continue to watch this stock in the future, and buy on dips, or if there is likely to be major catalysts in the near term and I should try to create a position soon. Thanks for your help, I will continue to do my DD in the meantime.
