Let’s be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. There is no such thing as consensus science.

If it’s consensus, it isn#$%$ science. If it’s science, it isn#$%$ consensus. Period.

Global Warming Alarmists Caught Doctoring '97-Percent Consensus' Claims

Global warming alarmists and their allies in the liberal media have been caught doctoring the results of a widely cited paper asserting there is a 97-percent scientific consensus regarding human-caused global warming. After taking a closer look at the paper, investigative journalists report the authors’ claims of a 97-pecent consensus relied on the authors misclassifying the papers of some of the world’s most prominent global warming skeptics.

At the same time, the authors deliberately presented a meaningless survey question so they could twist the responses to fit their own preconceived global warming alarmism.

Global warming alarmist John Cook, founder of the misleadingly named blog site Skeptical Science, published a paper with several other global warming alarmists claiming they reviewed nearly 12,000 abstracts of studies published in the peer-reviewed climate literature. Cook reported that he and his colleagues found that 97 percent of the papers that expressed a position on human-caused global warming “endorsed the consensus position that humans are causing global warming.”

Investigative journalists at Popular Technology looked into precisely which papers were classified within Cook’s asserted 97 percent. The investigative journalists found Cook and his colleagues strikingly classified papers by such prominent, vigorous skeptics as Willie Soon, Craig Idso, Nicola Scafetta, Nir Shaviv, Nils-Axel Morner and Alan Carlin as supporting the 97-percent consensus.

Cook and his colleagues, for example, classified a peer-reviewed paper by scientist Craig Idso as explicitly supporting the ‘consensus’ position on global warming “without minimizing” the asserted severity of global warming. When Popular Technology asked Idso whether this was an accurate characterization of his paper, Idso responded, “That is not an accurate representation of my paper.

  • On the night of September 9, 2009, a still highly popular President Barack Obama spoke spiritedly to a joint session of Congress. He had summoned the members of both parties to introduce his plan to transform American health care.

The promises he made that night were many and, to most in the television audience, at least, sounded fresh. “Nothing in this plan will require you or your employer to change the coverage or the doctor you have,” said the president. “Let me repeat this: nothing in our plan requires you to change what you have.”

Simmering throughout this litany of disinformation was an obscure five-term South Carolina congressman named Joe Wilson. When Obama denounced as false the claim that this proposed health care system “would insure legal immigrants,” Wilson could hold his tongue no longer. “You lie!” he yelled.

Widely chastised at the time, Wilson had to feel vindicated this week when a report surfaced that 42 percent of new Medicaid sign-ups were illegal immigrants. This added weight to the recent revelation that most of those newly insured for Obamacare had been insured through Medicaid.

It has been a good few weeks for Wilson. On November 4, he handily won re-election to Congress from South Carolina’s 2nd congressional district with nearly two thirds of the vote.

A week later, the remarks made by MIT professor and self-styled Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber at a 2013 academic conference sobered up those who preferred to think Obama’s broken health care promises were unfortunate but unforeseen.

    Hilary "Mook Mafia" Clinton

Read these e-mails. Are these Hillary Clinton liberals in high school? Childish and amazing.

Mook wrote: "I know this prodical [sic] son will return to the mafia manger soon enough to smite Republicans mafia-style."

Mook worked on Howard Dean’s 2004 presidential campaign, Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, and was the campaign manager for Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe during his 2013 campaign.

Marshall also wrote in the email that he would not be departing: "First, the mafia never separates, it just continues to grow and expand and move into other states in order to destroy Republicans."

In another email, sent during the 2010 special election to fill the Massachusetts Senate seat vacated due to the death of Ted Kennedy, Marshall wrote, #$%$ Republicans. Mafia till I die. If you have just a few minutes, hop on that activate and punish those voters!"

Marshall worked on Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign in 2008, and then joined the Obama campaign after the primaries.

He has also worked for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and is currently serving as the principal deputy director of the White House Office of Public Engagement.

  • They want to control private citizens like Rich Weinstein, who has done what the leftist Obama media would never do. Weinstein uncovered GruberGate..... the Obama Regime Obamacare lies.

  • The leftist rats are turning cannabalistic. Maybe Arianna is crawling back to the Republican Party? To paraphrase LBJ: "If we've lost the Huffington Post, we've lost the moonbats".

    lol

UPDATE: WHITE HOUSE DENIES GRUBER, WHITE HOUSE LOGS PROVE GRUBER WAS TELLING TRUTH

The White House reached out to left wing reporters at Talking Points Memo today to deny Gruber had a role, saying Gruber didn’t “work” at the White House.

Yet, in a Frontline interview, Gruber says,

“The next time I see him is summer 2009. The big issue there is that he really wants to make sure I’m moving forward on cost control. I think that at this point he sort of knew we had a good plan on coverage, but he was worried on cost control. So we had a meeting in the Oval Office with several experts, including myself, on what can we do to get credible savings on cost control that the Congressional Budget Office would recognize and score as savings in this law.”

Was Gruber lying? Was he in the Oval Office with the President in the summer of 2009, talking about how to game the CBO numbers?

    WHITE HOUSE LOGS

He was. On July 20, 2009, Jonathan Gruber meets with POTUS in the West Wing. He was there almost four hours, as per White House logs.

Obama was at the center of this deception. He specifically ordered Gruber and other “healthcare experts” to find ways to game the CBO numbers so that the bill would pass. In his gleeful showboating over passing the bill, Jonathan Gruber has clearly identified President Obama as the source of the lie behind the Cadillac Tax. The story is no longer about Jonathan Gruber. It’s about the deliberate lies the President used to pass this monstrosity of a healthcare law.

  • GruberGate will also affect the upcoming Obamacare SCOTUS decision. The Obama Regime has been caught in a web of lies.

  • Gallup:

Republicans in Congress enjoy a 43% approval rating. Obama, on the other hand, sits at a 38% approval rating. His disapproval rating sits at a whopping 56%.

    And more great news.....

When asked by Gallup who should have more influence over the direction of the country, a majority of Americans chose Republicans in Congress over Obama by a whopping 57-36% margin.

Turns out, the liberal spin machine had CONGRESS lower than Obama. But that's with the scummmDEMOCRATS factored in. Take the DIMS out, and wala.....GOP Congress more popular than Barry BigEarz..lol!

  • It's called $100's of millions in guv't grants.(Payola)

Not to mention the fact the naazzzeeeeLeft ostracizes any scientist that dares dissent against the "human-caused"(snicker) global warming fraud.

AG nominee Loretta Lynch wants to free blacks from the 'Prison of Racism'

Based on her family history, "social justice" statements and close ties to black activists, Lynch will deploy law enforcement resources based on race and political ideology, not on the rule of law.

Lynch has a close relationship with Eric Holder and in a speech at the Martin Luther King Center in Long Beach, New York last year she vowed to continue his work at the Department of Justice and fight those in the "deep south" who want to take away blacks' voting rights and reverse the progress of the last 50 years

Then she asks the young people in the audience, "What is it that makes you feel oppressed?" "Is it the prison of racism?"

Oh goodie......Another liberal stuck in the Jurassic Park past.

  • See what happens when you fall for the cult of personality and hopenchange slogans, and dismiss experience and leadership?

and the Dem-contolled California Senate voted down fracking bans not once, but twice.

  • Along with steamrolling any other leftist nutjob judges at the District, etc level. That would be great!

  • Associated Press

More than two-thirds of Americans want to see President Barack Obama make a substantial change to the way he leads the country, according to the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll – and virtually no one is happy with the president’s leadership.

When asked how much change they would like to see in the direction Mr. Obama has been leading the country, the survey found 68% of registered voters would like to see either “a great deal of change” or “quite a bit of change” to Mr. Obama’s direction. Another 23% called for “just some change.” Only 8% said Mr. Obama should make “not that much change” to his direction.

Question: Who are the idiot8% that don't want a directional change? Oh yea, low information liberal dingbats like Betty.

  • An upstate New York Republican is slated Tuesday to shatter the congressional record of former Brooklyn Democratic Rep. Elizabeth Holtzman as the youngest woman ever elected to Congress.

Elise Stefanik, 30, is favored to win in New York’s upstate 21st District and make history as the youngest female to win a seat in the House. Holtzman was sworn in at age 31 in 1973 at a time when women weren’t even allowed in the congressional gym…

…In Utah, Mia Love is strongly favored to become the first African-American Republican woman elected to Congress…

…The biggest prize could go to Iowa Republican Joni Ernst, who has momentum in the critical race that could determine control of the Senate. She’d become the first woman ever elected to Congress in Iowa and the first female combat veteran in the Senate, having served in Kuwait as a company commander in 2003 and 2004.

GOP women have a war on democrats! lol

  • Piggybacking on what House leaders have done, Cruz said the first order of business should be a series of hearings on President Obama, “looking at the abuse of power, the executive abuse, the regulatory abuse, the lawlessness that sadly has pervaded this administration.”

    Can you say I-M-P-E-A-C-H-M-E-N-T?
