  • ◾The company, on the basis of change in net income from the same quarter one year ago, has significantly underperformed when compared to that of the S&P 500 and the Semiconductors & Semiconductor Equipment industry. The net income has significantly decreased by 156.7% when compared to the same quarter one year ago, falling from -$110.40 million to -$283.40 million.
◾The debt-to-equity ratio is very high at 16.45 and currently higher than the industry average, implying increased risk associated with the management of debt levels within the company. To add to this, SUNE has a quick ratio of 0.53, this demonstrates the lack of ability of the company to cover short-term liquidity needs.
◾Return on equity has greatly decreased when compared to its ROE from the same quarter one year prior. This is a signal of major weakness within the corporation. Compared to other companies in the Semiconductors & Semiconductor Equipment industry and the overall market, SUNEDISON INC's return on equity significantly trails that of both the industry average and the S&P 500.
◾Net operating cash flow has significantly decreased to -$276.30 million or 169.29% when compared to the same quarter last year. In addition, when comparing to the industry average, the firm's growth rate is much lower.
◾The gross profit margin for SUNEDISON INC is currently lower than what is desirable, coming in at 25.69%. Regardless of SUNE's low profit margin, it has managed to increase from the same period last year. Despite the mixed results of the gross profit margin, SUNE's net profit margin of -41.60% significantly underperformed when compared to the industry average.

Massive Pump and Dump. Seen this all before. Don't be surprised if you see more Insider selling today at 21.00. They often set orders at these levels. GL all

ST28, your right I sold this at 47.00 after buying it at 48.50. That was when a lot of talking heads were saying buy buy buy. I am tempted to jump back in but I was waiting for a retest of the 41.40 low. Looks like i might have missed it with the market back in Bull Mode, but who knows if oil heads under 45.00 next week we could see another shot at it.

Not much downside potential........Are you sure? It was just 41.40 a few weeks ago and with oil in the "who knows" zone......who knows?

Cramer pulled one of his many pump and dumps. That is what he is hired to do. Talking heads have a purpose, but they work for the hedgies and big boys and this exposes them to inside info that they in turn utilize to profit big time, not the retail investors .He has been investigated in the past, google it. Never go by Cramer, he is strictly for entertainment in my book, but I rarely have the time to fit in such poor quality entertainment, I would rather watch the news or read the newsletters from formidable investors I follow than watch that maniac bragging about his trust, although with all his illegal inside info he must have a tidy sum. I am not saying that DOW will never recover, it might sooner than I anticipate and I think we are at a pivotal point in the market right now and DOW depends on a UP market to move ahead and also it has to prove to investors that the recent claims of moves to improve margins are actually working. If we get a Market correction in January, DOW will test 41.70 again and probably even see 35.00 if the Dow should correct 6% 1000 points. I think the recent down trend is happening for a reason not unknown that will be disclosed soon. I don't think it is totally the Oil plunge, I think it is more to do with the large debt compared to cash ratio, because if the high yield loans out there in the Energy Sector start to default, rates will skyrocket and also loans will dry up. These are loans to pay dividends and do buybacks. When stock prices seem to fall for no good reason or seem to lag in good performing markets exhibiting poor Relative Strength there is usually something fundamentally wrong driving these stocks lower or holding them back in market rallies. Fundamentals that come to light later on and then everyone says, no wonder there was so much selling. So, what I am saying is the mystery as to why this stock is not performing as it should will soon be revealed.

Exactly, well look, 7 M shares and a weak rally with 3 attempted rallies during the day sold off means there isn't much interest other than selling. GL and you enjoy your Holiday also.

DD is in 3 plus year Bull Market, Phase 2, there is no comparison. It is trading 8 dollars higher than it's 57,80 200 moving average. Sometimes you have to just learn to read a chart and not get married to a stock that is in an apparent decline. Investors that dig in their heels and wait for a turnaround can sometimes wait for years. Dow is in a phase 4 Bear Market of it's own and I think others will follow...........markets are topping out....phase 3 topping ...........GL

    Sentiment: Strong Sell
