OMG it did not take long to get an insult. Just as I suspected and while you won't hear from me for a month neither will I engage in this spat I will be reading and not your posts Dr. SpinBushky. I like that name for you much better than the current one Hope is using because it is cleaner and more to the point. I have to get the kids to camp and myself to work so see you people in a month or so. Hope, if you read this , THANKS AGAIN!

So I get up this morning and turn on the TV and Futures are up over 100 points and it seems I am on the right side of the trade again and this is why I was so encouraged to post again as I am actually quite shy to post and really hate confrontation and the rude rude behavior that I am subjecting myself to by doing so. I will not name names but in my mind if I had to make a decision to buy or sell I look to Hope for a clue although it is my decision in the end. I am not versed in science nor am I invested in any other biotechs at the moment but someone mentioned ADXS yesterday and that Hope suggested it here at $10.00 while that could not be further from the truth because he mentioned at $6.60 in May and I remember because I bought it the same day at $6.80 and guess what? It was $10.00 by early June! Just saying, in all fairness while Hope can be as nasty as the flu, he can be as right as anyone I have honestly read on this thread. Past performance is not a guarantee of future success in this arena but when Hope posts, I am a reader and I am looking for a clue as to when he is selling again. I don't understand the science so much and I do not know if Ziopharm "has the keys" or not but I once again am sitting on a nice profit due to reading the nasty rants of Hopewillhelpyou! Thanks Hope and please clean it up a bit if you don't mind. lol

I don't post often but I am a habitual reader of this thread along with IV Board, Stocktwits , Twitter or anything else I can find because I have been invested in Ziopharm Oncology since last year. I started buying the stock when it dropped below 5.00 and if I may say many here who are calling for $2.00 and $3.00 were doing so back then when Hope called the bottom under $5.00. I am not here to take sides but I just felt the need to post my personal experience and I cannot condone Hope's crude writing style and admittedly I often cringe when I read it, for me he is "The Donald" of this board if you will as he is often as right as he is crude IMO.
I started "trading around a core" as he had suggested and while I didn't follow his trades to the T I'm sure, I managed to do quite well and much better than buy and hold on the whole position. For example six weeks ago Hope had said the DJIA had hit 18,000 again and that he was taking all profits off the table and just leaving a small core and Ziopharm was trading at almost $9.00 and low and behold within three weeks it was under $7.00. Amazingly it doesn't stop there because two weeks ago well before Brexit he said the index was once again approaching the top of that 18.000 range and said he felt the market was shaky and feared Brexit and a terror attack on US soil and low and behold we had both. I read all posters here but honestly I don't think anyone has been as eerily right as Hope despite his awful language and crude sense of humor.
I again profited by selling near a top, wonderful! Last Friday he said he had "started nibbling" and so did I after Brexit and I managed to buy a lot on Monday at $5.12 replenishing my trading shares at an average of $5.30 and I could not be happier right now. OK, maybe he is just lucky? Sorry, I don't think so because since last year he has more right than wrong while most people here ridicule him and say he is holding $14.00 and $12.00 shares which I know cannot be true.

Yes, and he is still posting lies about patients in other trials not having resections and suggesting tumors are melting away without them. The Keytruda one he is mentioning here lately is all another lie of his. I read the board every day but don't post much but I must say without you his lies go unscathed and hidden. Please keep posting and pointing out the facts. Thanks.

I agree with you 100%. These patients clearly had resections. You must be careful what you read on these boards because you are not aware of their intentions. Thanks for posting because I missed that myself and actually believed this nonsense.

Wow Dr. SpinShitzky, did you see B.O.stuttering when talking about The Donald. I think I heard him mumbling something like HopeyDopey. You and him are both FOS. Two imposters. Both are hard-line left-wing nutcakes.

Well said hope. America need not be an embarrassment nor should it be apologised for. No country has given more to others out of compassion and no country in the history of the world has given so many people from so many different cultures more opportunities than this wonderful country.God Bless America!😂

    MTSL Update on ZIOP/DEAL?

Also from IV Board from HopeWillHelp message 52762:

Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, and Pfizer to Present Avelumab Data in Seven Different Cancers at ASCO Annual Meeting

Alliance between Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, and Pfizer Inc., New York, US
Immuno-oncology is a top priority for Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, and Pfizer Inc. The global strategic alliance between Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, and Pfizer Inc., New York, US, enables the companies to benefit from each other’s strengths and capabilities and further explore the therapeutic potential of avelumab, an investigational anti-PD-L1 antibody initially discovered and developed by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. The immuno-oncology alliance will jointly develop and commercialize avelumab and advance Pfizer’s PD-1 antibody. The alliance is focused on developing high-priority international clinical programs to investigate avelumab as a monotherapy, as well as in combination regimens, and is striving to find new ways to treat cancer.

"I have a feeling we are going to get news of a new collaboration between MerckKGaA/PFIZER and ZIOP/XON. It was in the Griffin report and while being speculative in nature the prospects of a coming deal are glaring IMO. I thought it would BMY or MeckUS to partner on the next deal but the statement that "we are currently in discussions with partners to initiate a PD-1 combination study" in the last Earnings report kind of seals the deal for me."

  • MTSL Update on ZIOP

Summary statement from MTSL in reviewing ZIOP's recent clinical data release re glioblastoma trial and plans for Phase 1B/2 trial for metastatic breast cancer:

"We expect to see updated data at ASCO that will show an even better survival rate for this exciting IL-12 gene therapy. Importantly, ZIOP has the potential to enter a registration trial in patients with recurrent or progressive glioblastoma as early as next year. We also expect the company to start a Phase I trial in combination with a PD-1 shortly which could also be accompanied by a partnership. In our view, the IL-12 drug candidate has the potential to be one of if not the first gene therapy approved for treating solid tumors."

If we see some more of this tomorrow at the open we might be onto something. Could be just one large investor and not necessarily a Fund.. About 90,000 shares traded in only a handful is a good sign though that's for sure.

    Sentiment: Buy

  • makemy2005 makemy2005 May 26, 2016 8:57 AM Flag

Yes we will, stay tuned. Try and keep an open mind because there are 2 sides to every trade and you could be on the right side or maybe not? Time will tell and actually it's a matter of timing if you are a trader, and a matter of the science if you a long term investor, same applies for shorts as for longs. GL

  • makemy2005 makemy2005 May 26, 2016 8:42 AM Flag

This is true but on one hand you have the AF's and SA's of the world, so why not fight fire with fire because in fact Ziopharm has promising tech in the lab.

  • makemy2005 makemy2005 May 26, 2016 8:38 AM Flag

You're right pal, the shorts are betting against all logic and treat ZIOP like an unwanted step-child . In time a deal will come in 2016 and we will see how they spin that. lol

  • and trigger milestone payment. This would trigger some shorts to run for the exits also. Double digits coming?

  • makemy2005 makemy2005 May 25, 2016 8:29 PM Flag

Dr. Cricket is at it again with his usage of suffering cancer survivors to poison the minds of investors. Haven't seen his son Cricket Jr. here tonight with his ridiculous 4.00 valuations. Between those two chirping jackasses I don't know who is worse. Who cares, let them keep chirping as long as the PPS keeps going up and data keeps coming in good it should shut them up eventually. And if the science fails then I guess we have to say aside from being crickets, they were right.

  • makemy2005 makemy2005 May 25, 2016 8:04 PM Flag

I cannot believe that people have the nerve to even twist the words of cancer patients to chase investors out of a stock. The poor man clearly says it "might save his life" and you even wrote it yourself, and yet you still are bent on trying to convince people here that there is no benefit realized by Chad as a result of this trial treatment. Do you think he said it might save his life if he didn't think there was a possibility that it might have already? Extremely biased point of view in my opinion and I wonder what your motives really are. Shame on you if it's money that plays that role.

Thanks for putting all these Dr. Spin fibs in one neat bundle of FUD. He says he has "DATA" to refute all this instead of his "facts" being because he says so. Let's see what data he can post that we can check to see if he can refute these blatant lies or otherwise he should just disappear or at least knock it off and stick to facts if he wants any respect.
